I haven’t yet voted this season but have finely decided that I am a on the Team Humble Plaid:)

I didnt read all the comments but about the critic article..I am sorry if this bugs anyone.. but I think if you dont want to hear comments about what you write then dont have a comment section..and if you are a professional writer getting paid..put your big boy or girl panties on and grow some thick skin and get that everyone is not going to like what you write and ignore them. Just as professional singers like Taylor ignore the critics or they would stop singing for the most part!! And how do we know that all fanbases dont do this but he was affected by the Taylor piece so that is what he wrote about!! Just sayin… sometimes in professions like critic and singing..you have to take the good the bad and the ugly!!
Ok..no one will even see this probably ..but I am done! : )

Oops Steve O!! Not sure I made this clear.. I dont think people should bombard a reviewer with negative comments.. I would not do that…and dont think Taylor would want you to do that but you cant control everything and to get in snit and take it out on the artist or singer is silly to me. If they dont want comments or discussion they wouldnt have a comment section … all comments could be done with class in a perfect world but we know that we dont have that SOOO…
It is obviously a problem with a lot of fans.. I say just ignore the reviwer is the best thing..take the high road like Taylor would! But I do not like whiny critics either! lol

Got loads to do so I’ll leave some new links here.

    Sanjaya waxes philosophical
Booted off ‘Idol,’ teen sees bright future in performing

…Given the public’s divided reaction to him, was he considering hiring a bodyguard as he emerges from the isolated “bubble” of “American Idol”? He’s already looking into it, he said…

State Fair bringing a wide range of musicians

Peter Frampton, Weird Al Yankovic, Ted Nugent and the All-American Rejects probably don’t get the chance to perform together often.

Then again, the Colorado State Fair happens only once a year. Now in its 135th incarnation, the state’s premier celebration of agriculture will feature motocross, rodeo, tractor pulls and a bizarrely diverse music schedule when it runs Aug. 24-Sept. 3 in Pueblo.

“American Idol” rocker Daughtry will round out the Events Center entertainment series schedule. Los Lonely Boys and the Doobie Brothers will also play the Budweiser Rodeo Arena on Sept. 2…..

    Is Hicks’ ‘Idol’ fame fleeting?

A record number of viewers watched Taylor Hicks grab the “American Idol” crown in May. His CD zoomed to No. 2 in December. But since then, the silver-haired singer’s profile has faded faster than a Just for Men shampoo dye job.
He’s appearing Saturday at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pa., and according to the Peak’s Web site, the show is not sold out…

    Something To Talk About
In his ”Idol” exit Q&A, Sanjaya tells us why he’s ”so sad to leave these people”(yes, even Simon), his reaction to crying girl and other new fans, his own ”great hair,” and his future in music

It’s hard to know whether to jump for joy or be bummed out that Sanjaya Malakar, one of the most beloved and reviled contestants in American Idol history, finally got kicked off. Sure, it’s a singing competition and the guy didn’t exactly excel at things vocal. But on the other hand, he was charming and endearing in his own work-the-camera-in-a-ponytailed-mohawk kind of way. Sanjaya called EW after getting the boot and gave us something to talk about. How about his psychic abilities, for starters?….

Sanjaya ends his ‘Idol’ run, but charmed viewers

In his improbable run on “American Idol,” Sanjaya Malakar was the one to watch.

The stringbean teen with the megawatt smile worked his strange magic on the show’s stage week after week, captivating millions and horrifying Simon Cowell, his loudest critic.

Did the boy from Federal Way lack talent? For sure. Was he boring? Not by a long shot….

Sanjaya Malakar exits ‘American Idol’ and Indians seem happy to see him go

    Good riddance, Sanjaya.

Sanjaya Malakar, whose father hails from India, exited the “American Idol” stage after a long and unlikely run, and Indians seemed relieved to see him go.

While Malakar’s goofy hairstyles and lackluster singing captivated millions of Americans, his quirky appeal never resonated among Indians. Though the end of his run was front-page news, his exit was not mourned…….

Sanjaya credits fans – not foes

“American Idol” ejectee Sanjaya Malakar said yesterday his run on the show lasted as long as it did because of his fans.

After Malakar reached the top 10 finalists, he became a flashpoint for media figures and viewers who questioned his singing ability….
