The Voice alum and country music singer RaeLynn is engaged. The singer tells Us Weekly that her longtime boyfriend, Josh Davis (No. NOT the Josh Davis who competed on The Voice 8! He’s older and already married!), led her on a scavenger hunt of clues that led her through meaningful places important to the couple, before he got down on bended knee to pop the question on Monday, at Belmont University.
“OMG I’m getting married!” RaeLynn said to Us. “My life has been so crazy with my singing career and traveling and being 21, but you can’t plan when you’re gonna meet ‘the one.’ When it’s right, you just have to go with it.”
According to US, the couple has been knew each other since they were 18, around the time she was competing on Team Blake Shelton during The Voice season 2 in spring of 2012.
“He makes me better at everything I do,” RaeLynn added. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him. Did that really just happen??? Time to workout really hard to look good in that white dress.”
Raelynn is currently on tour with Blake’s ex, Miranda Lambert. I wonder if that’s awkward! The singer is set to perform on Wednesday in New York City at a special private concert presented by Pandora titled “Women of Country” alongside labelmate and The Voice 3 winner, Cassadee Pope.
