Melanie Martinez has pledged to write, direct and film a music video for each of the songs on The Voice 2 alum’s 2015 album Cry Baby.
The latest creation is “Pacify Her.” It’s a strange tale of a blue boy and Cry Baby’s desire to steal his attention away from another girl. Melanie plays both roles. The boy is like something out of Blue Man Group, but without the bald cap.

All the action takes place in Cry Baby’s safe space, the playpen. And unsurprisingly, things get very surreal pretty quickly. Even magic can’t steal Blue Boy away. Not when there are powers stronger than magic.
Non-stop touring has currently brought Melanie to Europe, where she is displaying her odd brand of pop to cities across the continent.
