Clever, clever. The newest The Voice preview features hopeful, Melanie Martinez, singing X Factor coach, Britney Spears’ “Toxic”.

Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Lewis all turned around for the quirky Melanie, who has a very unusual look, even if her indie girl sound is nothing new on The Voice.

Who does she choose as coach? You’ll have to wait until tonight’s episode (NBC 8/7c pm)

    Nice audition, nice twist on the Britney song. But not really anything we haven’t seen on Idol or The Voice before (except for playing the tambourine with her feet, haha)
