The Voice LIVE SHOWS begin tonight, at last! In anticipation of the new phase of The Voice competition, Blake Shelton and Christina Augilera sit down for an interview backstage on the first day of live show rehearsals.
Blake does his usual hilarious trash talking of his fellow coaches, “I don’t take Adam that seriously. The guy has ink poisoning that probably affects his equilibrium and ability to make decisions quickly. Cee Lo probably isn’t even from earth!”
He also talked about how he came to ask contestant, Gwen Sebastian, to join him on tour as a background singer. “I can’t imagine being out on the road with out her,” he says of the new addition to his road family.
Christina talks about her team and how everyone “each and everyone of my teamates packs a secret power punch that’s all their own.”
