I think it’s a tie between the last three for me – Juliet was so soulful, Chris was stunning (both vocally and physically), and Tony was so cool!

They are off to a good start and unlike last year I do think we may have a real competition time.

I loved both the first girl and the guy from Mickey Mouse Club(not good with names!) And the classically trained guy was great too.

Out of the 5 that were picked I like the last 4. I did not care for the first girl, but glad she went with Blake.

I thought the contestants were all pretty good, but after watching the show, I just really started looking forward to Idol on Wednesday.  I know I’m being a total downer, but now that I know what’s coming in the later part of the season, there’s just no excitement for me…

Seriously?  They promoted the heck out of it and I still forgot to watch!

Wonder if I can forget Smash.

Yeah, I really liked Dirty Voice and Opera Guy, which is the way I will prolly know them for a while.

Lucca was clearly the best.  I alredy want him to win because I like everything about his voice, style and performance style(well he needs to open his eyes). The Opera singer had a great voice. I think he should have went with Cee Lo.  Cee Lo would have let him chart his own course.

Tony and Chris Mann were my favorites but I bought Tony so I guess he’s my favorite. :)

I liked Chris Mann and Tony Luca.  The others were okay, but nothing special.

The Voice just moved too slow for me. Didn’t really enjoy the overly dramatic, drawn out decisions made by contestants as to which judge to choose. The cat fights between the mentors reminded me of XFUS, ugh. Idol remains SUPREME imo. Can’t wait for Wednesday!

Tony Luca, Juliette Simms, and Jesse Campbell.  I love people who know how to get into a song.

You might not know it, but Juliette Simms has already a pretty known name in the rock scene

I absolutely LOVE this show & it was an amazing premier last night….   According to an article I just read the ratings were ‘great’…….. Enjoy all the ‘coaches’ interaction with one another, the exceptionally talented contestants…    Can’t wait for the 2 hour show tonight!!!!!!!

Angel Taylor is supposed to be shown tonight on the voice.  She was on tour with Kris & BNL in 2010.

All that is just a bit past my ability to suspend disbelief.  Contestants know very well who the judges/mentors are before they sing and have likely long had their minds made up who they will choose.  That’s even if the whole thing isn’t scripted, which I strongly suspect it was last night at least in the cases of plants Chris and Tony.
