I’m going to go right ahead and call a win for Tony Lucca. He had the most buzzworthy performance last night, for better or worse.  The rest of the field were ordinary by comparison.  Juliet Simms is the best overall performer/singer, but she was saddled with a cold and some poor song choices. Pimp spot notwithstanding, it would be a pleasant surprise if she won. Jermaine Paul sang the best he ever has, but it was too little too late, I think. Chris Mann is no Josh Groban, but it’s possible I could be underestimating the power of a pretty face and a nice voice.  In fact, I wouldn’t be very surprised if Chris Mann turned out to be runner-up.

Keeping the above caveats in mind, here are my results predictions:

1. Tony Lucca
2. Juliet Simms
3. Chris Mann
4. Jermaine Paul

Who do you think will win The Voice?

Hmmm.  I don’t know.  I think top two will be:
    Tony
    Chris

    Next two will be:
    Jermaine
    Juliet.

Its only 1 hour tonight, right? Last night went on forever.

Lindsey was the only original artist this year.

Agree! I don’t see any of these people becoming successful. Juliet has a chance though. She won’t if they give her Melissa Etheridge type of music though.

She could do wonderful in the pop/indie world. I’m really looking forward to her album. She has sooo much commercial appeal.

No, it’s two hours.  So, tonight is going to go on forever, too.  I’m tuning in during the last five minutes.  Even though I shouldn’t because I really don’t want to see Tony Lucca crowned.

Lindsey will be fine. She, Juliet and Jamar are the only 3 that I’m quite sure will be signed.

ETA: and RaeLynn, who I think is already signed.

    I agree with you…therefore, you are right…haha.

In a big, operatic song like “You Raise Me Up”, there is simply no comparison between Chris and Groban.  The top third (or even half) of Chris’ range is fully developed, whereas Groban’s voice falls apart…on the high notes, he strains in full voice or fakes it in falsetto.

I know nothing of Vegas, but Chris’ dream has already come true…and it ain’t the one where he sings “The Prayer” with Christina…LOL

This is why I hate Vote Wh*res

Tony Lucca ? @Luccadoesremember y’all: only iTunes sales AFTER TONIGHT’S SHOW count as Votes! Be sure to buy/gift as many as 10 DOWNLOADS!!

  • sf3456

Here’s the thing: his idiot fans actually did buy/gift as many as 10 downloads.  And they’re okay with him calling a woman a bitch on national television.  His fans are the worst.

Excuse me for butting in… but you do Chris a disservice by comparing him with a totally different category of baritone.

There is not one role in Hvorostovsky’s repertoire that Chris would attempt or be considered for.  He is a light lyric baritone of the highest quality, who, I’m sure, would be quite wonderful as Figaro or Papageno.

over/under on the number of days it will take Adam to totally forget about even trying to promote Tony after he wins?

Is he a baritone? I thought he were a tenor, maybe because his range seems to be be big and he looks more comfortable when singing higher, but IDK. I think that exactly the lyric characteristic of his voice is forced. He only has 2 minutes to sing and he tries too much to impress with a lot of changes through his voice. But after all, all I have to say is that his singing doesn’t imrpess me. Just my opinion.

I’m not a Tony Lucca fan but I’m less of a Xtina Aguillera fan.

Their facebook’s profiles are from the beginning of The Voice and probably aren’t too much about old fans. If we consider them as new fans and voters, Juliet would win by a landslide:

    Juliet Simms - 52.224 likes
    Jermaine Paul - 31.125 likes
    Tony Lucca – 25.333likes
    Chriss Mann - 22.931 likes

I thought all of them but Juliet was good last night.  I don’t like the tone of her voice.  Tony Lucca sings the kind of music I would buy and if I voted, would probably vote for him.  I did enjoy Jermaine for the first time last night and I’ve always thought Chris had a good voice.

I would be okay with anyone but Tony winning. If he wins, it won’t be because he was the best. It’ll be because he got the most publicity because of this feud between him/Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera. I’m an MMC fan for life, and I loved him back in the day, but there’s a reason he didn’t become as popular as the others. I have his solo album, and it’s horrible.

MY very favorite on The Voice was Jesse and he is gone. Being crowned winner does not keep you a winner. Sometimes those who don’t win the title go on to have better careers. That being said, any of these 4 deserve the crown. Christina really did a dis service to herself by knocking Tony. She is insecure no matter how successful she is. Each of them had moments of struggle and moments of being stars. Best to all of them!
