At The Voice Knockout Rounds the competition becomes pretty stiff and talented folks go home. Tonight’s crop of singers nearly all had good arguments to be made for advancing to the Live Playoffs. However, I wouldn’t argue with any of the decisions–except for Adam choosing standards singer Riley Elmore over soul man Jason Warrior. There was a steal, so no harm no foul. BUT STILL. My prediction: Young Riley will turn into that contestant who overstays his welcome. He seems like a sweet kid, though.
My favorites right now are We McDonald and Kylie Rothfield. We was pretty much a guarantee for the live shows, but I was a little nervous for Kylie. She’s still got some confidence issues. She’s a good candidate for a growth arc.
Don’t forget: If you’re favorite is eliminated, they COULD come back as one of four wildcards. So there’s that.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were decent advisers, but they are no Rihanna (Best Key Adviser EVER).
