This event seems very random. They let them get away from the grueling schedule, what, twice? and they have to go see Horton Hears a Who and hang out with Nigel’s boring friends. Poor kids. Let them go to the beach or something. Jason really likes the beach and Cookie needs some sun.

I saw some of these pics this morning before work on DC’s facebook group, but they were watermarked. I went back just a few minutes ago and there were some without watermarks. I personally like this one the best. He’s getting hotter by the week. And this is definitely his best look yet. LOVE IT.

No, we sent him the dog tags. (and they got to him) He should be wearing the tags on Tuesday. The necklace that they are freaking about on there is the star necklace that says “inspire” (not the one with the cuffs)

What do you eat at a Brit Week launch party, anyway? Bangers and mash? Kidney pie and black pudding (sausage consisting primarily of fat and blood, I kid you not)? I hope they stopped by In-N-Out Burger after the Britfest. Most of them look like they could use some greasy good calories.

Re: Upcoming week…do they get one or two songs? Read a spoiler on the scary boards that Castro is planning on moving around this week. Scary scary thought. I’m thinking no matter what, he’ll sound the same so it really doesn’t matter. Either that, or it’ll just be painfully awkward like it was with “Michelle”.

I’m guessing itis all Neil all the time. The official site just says songs from Neil Diamond. He wrote songs for other peeps (like the Monkees) early in his career. I suspect those would be fair game.

Flowers are always such a nice touch — particularly during a nervous breakdown. Rather than run away you stop, stay and smell the flowers — which die in about 12 hours.

I found a site that has an alphabetical list of neil diamond songs for anyone who may be interested in perusing them. I had no idea that he had such a huge songbook. Check the legend at the top of the page for a bit of extra info on each song. It looks like some songs on the list were only performed by ND at concerts…so some of them may be off limits for the contestants. We know Carly had selected “Sweet Caroline,” so we may not see it on Tuesday’s show.

p.s. does DC’s facial hair look a little red in that extreme closeup?? is he maybe a natural red head?? i never noticed this b4.

I know I’m way late, but I want to respond to your post. The week Jason sang Halleluia (however you spell it), he started sitting and ended standing!! So it IS possible for him to have some motion and still deliver.

I’m thoroughly convinced that Michelle failed due to the song choice, not due to Jason’s moving around.

Jason’s starting to take some risks. I think he wants to win and is doing his best to prove to people that he still deserves to be there. Good for him.
