Another unexpected choice from Cook. Love him.

You know mj, it’s probably just a coincidence, but looking at the pictures for the first three posts on your blog, it’s no wonder you get 100000000 hits LOL. Yay CCJ!

Good choices. I totally agree with all, except for Blackbird. But, there must have been something in it that really clicked for Arculetta.

I am not suprised about David Cook choosing Brooke. There is no question those two were very very close.

The two Carly choices are baffling to me, especially Blackbird, a song I love which I felt she botched badly.

The MJ Dolly week song by MJ, IAWBIAR was a very good choice by Jason.

I would have hoped Music of the Night would have been a choice as it was the best performance of the year, with MJs second.

WOW, Blackbird and Here you come again are my 2 favs on the show too, NICE! Umm, they are all close but David C, Carly and MJ are best buds. Both David C and MJ love Carly to death and have much respect for her talent. The 3 of them share the same sense of humor and are very talented to boot. I was shocked David C didn’t pick one of Carly’s performances; I guess the producers might have asked him to pick someone else bec David A and Syesha already picked her, hahaha.

I am surprised that 2 picked Carly’s songs. Those might not have been the ones I’d choose but completely agree with Jason’s choice, of course. I think they were being honest and not being guided by the producers or friendship. Did you notice none of them picked each other?

Hahaha, I was completely kidding about the producers asking David C to pick someone else. I myself enjoyed Brooke’s version of Let it be. Yeah, I’ve noticed that too that none of them picked each other, hmmmmm.

This was taped during the top 5. So Brooke was probably asked this question too but they had to cut her part bec she got eliminated. The host told Carly that over half of the remaining contestants picked her; I wonder if Brooke picked one of Carly’s performances, hmmmmm. Btw, Blackbird, Here you come again, and Superstar are equally brilliant on Itunes.

I’m glad my male favorite DCook picked my ultimate favorite Brooke’s performance I thought he would pick something of Michael Johns since they were all best buds so I was pleasantly surprised that he picked Brooke’s! Man has good taste!

Blackbird is the only performance Archie has downloaded thus far. I think that says quite a bit about it.

YAY! Jason picked my fave MJ song, makes me love Jason even more! And I loved Cook’s choice for Let It Be by Brooke. That is my daughter’s fave song this year and I love it as well.

I loved all their choices, but I think Jason chose best.

I was a little surprised by Cookie’s choice, but not really, as that’s one of my favorite performances this season too. I really loved what he said about it, too. Good choice, DC.

I was a little baffled by “Blackbird” too (I would have picked “Come Together” over that one), but the other two choices I totally agreed with.

Love Jason’s & cryMEsha’s choice. Those are in my top 5 picks.

I was surprised by Cook’s choice only because I thought he would pick one of MJ’s or Carly’s songs, that’s all. Let it Be was definitely one of the Season 7 moments. In fact, the “moments” for me are (in chrnonological order):

1. Imagine – David Archuleta
2. Hello – David Cook
3. Hallelujah – Jason
4. Let It Be – Brooke
5. Billie Jean – David Cook
6. It’s All Wrong, But It’s All Right – Michael
7. Over the Rainbow – Jason
8. Always Be My Baby – David Cook

Hmm, this is probably why I liked the first half of the season better.

All four were great choices. David picked Brooke’s best, Jason picked Michael’s best, and in my opinion Syesha and Archie picked Carly’s two best performances (both of which were quite underrated!). Very nice.

ooh yes!!.. i totally agree with them!! i love “blackbird” and “here you come again”… and the studio version of blackbird is terrific!!!!..
