Can you believe it? Tuesday night (August 14) is the big finale of The Glee Project! Glee star Chris Colfer will mentor Aylin, Blake and Ali as they compete for a 7 episode arc on Glee. The homework assignment, Broadway themed (appropriately!), is a performance of “You Can’t Stop the Beat” from Hairspray.

The eliminated contenders return to offer support and star in the final group number, the prom-themed “Tonight Tonight”.

Who will win The Glee Project? My money is on Aylin. Her Muslim backstory will be hard for Glee co-creator, Ryan Murphy, to resist.

In the preview video below, the contenders reunite, meet Chris Colfer, and perform in “Tonight Tonight”.

It’s a Glee Project Reunion!

Nice Tonight Tonight Video!   Aylin for the win!

I haven’t watched this show at all this season, but from watching that music video alone, Alyin seems like a natural on the camera and she’s got a killer & current voice.

At this point, all I want is for Aylin to win. PLEASEEEEEE!

They’re doing a live reunion special after the finale too. :D

Or maybe the week after, but we’re getting one. Nellie needs to tell us how she feels about being this season’s most popular!

    Damian McGinty!!! Yay!!!

Still rooting for Blake… Aylin is nothing new for me, but then again I live in a country where one has many of her type  and even more many conservative muslims…

The way how Ryan Murphy treated the “Christians” like Quinn, make me a bit weary of this muslim factor. I love Chris Colfer and Kurt but Quinn was always pulling at the shortest end when she gets into a “spiritual argument” with Kurt….(Grilled Cheesus, On my way)…. And don’t get me even started on the way the Asian factor is neglected (Tina, Mike)… ok it is a school in predominant white Ohio, but still…

If Aylin makes it, I would like to see some interaction with Sam and Joe Hart from the God Squad… but I wont be surprised if eventually the muslim factor will be somehow neglected.

But I am still for heartthrob Blake… oh well…

Love to watch Abraham all teary eyed when seeing Chris Colfer…

Axxxel, I wrote this about 3-4 weeks ago.  It all makes sense.  There is no doubt in my mind that Muslims marry Christians.  In this time and age, I could see this as a powerful plot – maybe explosive.  I want a GOOD story line for Sam!

Dear Kariann, sorry I did not read your writing… Yeah, I know that these kind of mixed marriages happen with my fellow country(wo)men, but they can only marry legally outside their country… not inside their own country… So if the return to their country,  their marriage is accepted legally but not religiously… and that may pose a problem with heritage… because heritage for muslims is dictated by muslim law even if the country is secular.

And I am not sure that mixed religeous marriage is accepted legally in other muslim countries.

I also want some beefy storyline for Sam… I really like his character.. Some think he is boring but he is acting very calmly, politely and respectfully. The only bad traits he had was that he worked in a stripper joint and that  he went after Mercedes, even when she was still with her boyfriend.

Interesting script of a Chris Colfer interview plus short clip showing Chris advising the final 3 about  choosing their song…

And eh Chris, I can totally picture you dancing the “Single Ladies” at the age of 50 at a bar mitzvah… If I am still alive by then :-)
