The Glee Project 2 – We Found Love – Music Video

Glee star, and king of the Heart Eyes, Darren Criss, will guest mentor the remaining 6 contenders as they take on “Romanticality” next week on The Glee Project. (Check out my Recap of Tenacity)

The group number is “We Found Love” by Rihanna and features a special appearance from Iqbal Theba who plays Principal Figgins on Glee. The kids are all in detention, but the minute he leaves the room they flee, coupling up as they go. It goes all romantical from there.

Aylin and Shanna, doing a same sex thang, get more action in the video than Brittana and Klaine did in an entire season of Glee. Oh. That’s right. It’s cable.

    They all did excellent. I think Shanna and Ailynn deserve this round.

    i thought everybody had pretty good chemistry together though blake and ali's nuzzling was kind of distracting.

    I know I need to get over it, but I just keep thinking how it seems like Nellie would have done really well this week and last week.  I don’t get why Michael is still there.

    My guess is that the winner got to choose the couples? I don’t know, just a guess.

    You chose the right picture mj, because I found Michael and Lily to be the most natural and convincing in this one, by far.  Blake & Ali were too smaltzy/awkward and Alylin & Shanna were maybe trying a little too hard, because it seemed a bit forced. 

    Oh and Iqbal was great!

    Word, b_james.  Word.  I would have loved to see how Nellie responded to the challenges of the Tenacity vid and I also would have loved to see who she might have been paired with in Romanticality.

    I have to admit that Michael’s acting was really convincing here, so he definitely has potential.  But then so did Nellie.  Plus she can sing rings around him.  Her voice is such a lovely contrast to the other higher pitched female voices on TGP.

    Interesting guess! 

    I wonder if the producers would be able to resist placing the girl from a ‘conservative turkish muslim family’ with another girl – one who is southern and might be more religious?  (Wasn’t there a quote from Shanna about belting to Jesus?)  A test to see how they respond and also places the cute boys with the less traditional romantic leads.

    Yea Alyin and Shanna didnt play off being a lesbian too well, they just looked they they were friends until they started kissing and u could tell they were unconfotable.  Micheal and Lily were surprising really well together, and Blake and ali were a little awkward too idk.  I would have paired diffrently.  Shanna/Blake, Ali/Micheal, and Lily/Aylin would have been a better fit i think.
