Damn. I was hoping Simon Foulwell would get a nice fat thanksgiving present – a fat dip in ratings. How could anyone have continued to tune in to that trainwreck last night??

On another note – yikes on glee’s ratings! Have they ever fallen into the 1. somethings demo before? That’s bad for a network and especially for a show like Glee which had so much hype just few years ago!

Wow if Glee holds I am very impressed. With Thanksgiving, I was expecting ratings to drop a ton, just because many people can’t watch live …the total number of viewers actually went up from last week. Even if it does go down, it’s expected. Especially for a scripted show like Glee..not exactly something you can put on at Thanksgiving and have most people enjoy/know what’s going on. Especially when there was a football game on another channel at the same time.

As expected, the football game killed XF.

Glee got beat by a rerun of The Big Bang Theory. And its ratings continue to drop. This show is on its last legs.

Nielson ratings may have become outdated and obsolete. Glee is the #9 show in prime time for DVR usage. Even if people aren’t watching on Thursday at 9:00, they are recording it to watch later. 46% of homes have DVR now (I don’t). Plus there’s video on demand and outlets to watch online. Nielson ratings continue to be reported because network people are still figuring out how to guage DVR, VOD and viewing online. I’m not convinced that Glee is on its’ last legs quite yet.

Glee’s numbers are pretty bad. How the mighty have fallen! (That includes Simon, after the final ratings are adjusted)

The Networks are trying to get the advertisers to consider the live plus 7 day numbers.  Doing well on this chart hasn’t helped a lot of shows avoid cancellation.

Its good news that TBBT is on re-run; it gave a chance for an increase to XF ratings in comparison to last week :)

Is Glee on the verge of cancellation or will it get one more year.  Personally while being a Gleek in the past, the new characters and storylines really arent working for me.  I dont care about Pucks brother, or the mean cheerleader or t he girl with the fat number or the Glee Project winner.  I miss the old characters.  It just doesnt feel the same – they might have been better trying to spin off the favorite characters last year- maybe have Rachel, Finn, Kurt (maybe Blaine) and maybe even Mercedes.  The stuff with Jane Lynch *who I love” but only appears on a number of episodes just feels stale and outlandish – too caricaturish – even though the show always has been over dramatic and required suspension of disbelief.  Its hard to see how this how fell so fast.  But the producers may have not kept their ey on the ball when working on differnet shows such as The New Normal and American Horror Story.
