This show makes me feel old. Who are all these people? Even David Silver looked bizarre and slightly confused about how he ended up there. Only saving grace is the peeks of Cookie and his sidekick Neal. What’s funny is that I’ve seen more of Jeff Archuleta than anyone else!

I was listening/watching the opening while I was cooking and considered
shaking cajun spice in my eyeballs. Whew, Miley can NOT sing. I have to give her credit though she is spunky and a great host for this type of thing.

What’s up with Mariah Carey’s shoes? When your dancer has to hold your hand so you can walk down three steps, it’s time to embrace stylish but sensible shoes. That is completely insane. I will never understand shoes like that. They aren’t shoes; shoes enable people to move around better, not worse.

i completely don’t get this show and realize now that teens aren’t very smart. Chad Michael Murray is the best actor in any drama on all of tv. Wow.

I think that crowd was just a little too young to get the Bocephus joke, wonder what the writers were thinking. This is a crowd that worships Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, they likely have no clue who Hank Williams Jr. is.

When I was a youngster, I was infatuated with Johnny Depp when he was on 21 Jump Street and bandwise U2 and Depeche Mode. And this is what they have now, Jonas Brothers? They look like whimps, sorry again, I must stop.

At least Archie is actually cute. I am going to have nightmares from this show. No one was really that funny at all. I muted a couple of them and finally I got to see Cookie/Archie and Jordin and yeah Randy kissing arse. Mariah’s weird yelp or whatever the hell that was? It was really scary, what happen to her? She use to be good. Miley is so full of herself, but the kids love her.

Ok the only teen type show that I watch is One Tree Hill, so I was happy to see Chad and Sofia, lol. They aren’t teens on the show anymore, they are actually playing their age, there 20′s. I really wish they would of aired Archie and Cookie getting their awards, oh well. They had to make room for Miley’s dance off, whatevah. Thanks MJ for the vids, I should of saved my precious time and just come on here.

Thanks MJ for posting! I sat through the show just to catch a glimpse of Archie and Cook. Besides watching the ACDC crew dance and the Davids, the show was pretty… *insert a better word for bad*

Proud of the idols, even McPhee, they added a little class to this show. Well at least the vids seem to say so cause there was no way I was gonna spend two minutes watching this show. I don’t care for Miley, but the Jonas Bros. I think are adorable, or course they can’t sing for sh*t, but they are adorable.

The Jonas Bros music isn’t my thing but Nicholas Jonas at least has an amazing voice (so I would assume his brothers have similar vocal abilities). When he was 13, he recorded this song, “Joy To The World” (not the traditional one) that I still play every Christmas.

I don’t have a problem with Miley Cyrus winning “Choice Music Female Artist”, whatever that really means. These Teen Choice awards are popularity contests anyway, and she’s clearly the most popular at the moment by a mile. They only added the other “nominees” so that there would be appear to be some competition in the category.

No, I’m more dumbfounded by her mind-numbing teenspeak. Whether she really talks that way or is doing so to identify better with her target audience – either way, it’s a sad reflection of this generation’s teens.

Also, I have to agree that Kat McPhee is really stunning! At home, my husband is master of the remote control, so I pretty much watch only the shows that he likes. I’ve followed AI Seasons 5 and 7 only, to a large extent due to Kat and KLC. (I know, it’s sad.) When KLC was eliminated, however, I put my foot down and insisted on continuing to watch the show to have my fix of DC! I’ve never been into music (and surfing the net) til DC came along. Now, I can’t start my day until after I check out this site. It’s my one guilty pleasure. LOL!!!

Kat looked great! All the idols did well, really. But man, now I know how my parents felt when I was a teen watching nonsense on tv. Sorry, mom and dad. LOL.

Waffle Hank Williams Jr is a country artist… and pretty old school one at that. Bocephus came from him. And I’m with you on the MJ as a guilty pleasure thing. Long live MJ!

But seriously, Miley Cyrus should not ever sing again…yikes! The Idols were the best part of that show. The “Ask the Jonas Brothers” things was all kinds of weird, and so were their answers to questions.

I think the ACDC dance crew should have won…that was also an entertaining moment.

I didn’t like how Miley kind of ignored the Davids when she accepted her award for Choice Female Artist.

You know David Cook was all “OMG WTF am I doing here? Are you sure this is part of my contract?”

I, too, can’t believe I watched almost two hours of dreck for a glimpse of David Cook – even though I’d already seen the video of him and Archie presenting online. Gah! And I don’t even have any teenagers in the house! The funny thing is, my husband watched it with me. Kinda like going back to the scene of an accident, I guess.

Well I watched the whole #()*#$(*A # show too just to catch a glimpse of Mr Cook! OK and Archie too, who is growing on me. I muted the dang TV for most of the show, including 98% of Miley Cyrus talking and singing (WTF was she wearing? And that’s singing and dancing?), Mariah Carey (WTF was she wearing? Dress your age, woman! And not like a hooker your age…), most of the “music,” all the other presenters…well, most of the show. I listened to Will Smith, whom I could’ve just muted as well it turns out. I listened to some of the silly-ass Ask The Jonas Brothers segments. But mostly I was just watching for the Davids and waiting for their presentation. I dunno about these kids nowadays! I don’t have any so perhaps I am simply clueless. Thank goodness!
