Season 5 Idol winner, Taylor Hicks co-hosted Daytime Alabama from his new restaurant, ORE. Before signing off, Taylor performed a sweet cover of the Randy Newman classic, “Birmingham”. How apropos.

Uhm yeah. One of my favorite Randy Newman tunes ever.
