A reporter from TV Guide attended Day 2 of the X Factor audition in Austin TX on Friday. Britney Spears was a crowd favorite, but it turns out that Demi Lovato is not only a tough judge, but comedic as well. Britney managed to stay in her seat for all of the 2nd day acts:

Simon Cowell called into the Billy Bush show to dish about X Factor replacements. Of course, he was really coy about whether Britney Spears or anybody is in talks to be on X Factor. He says there are lots of discussions going on, but like these things usually do–the decisions will probably be made at the last minute.

One Direction Storms the Today Show (VIDEO)
The Simon Cowell-created boy band, One Direction is taking the US by storm, or so it seems by the crowd that jammed Rockefeller center this morning for a Today Show concert. The news show reports that 1D broke a record–the concert was bigger than those by Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga.
If you haven’t heard of them, here’s your chance to check them out. Or, if you’ve got tween daughters, you might want to point them in 1D’s general direction. That’s the band’s target audience.
