I don't seek out articles about her, so it all goes over my head. I feel sorry for her being so fragile emotionally, life must not be easy for her, but her voice is what I admire. I think today with the emphasis on original music, and every singer is supposed to also be a songwriter, and all songs are supposed to be autobiographical, people forget what it is to hear really great songs interpreted by many different singers. Not that these are all great songs. It's quite a hodgepodge, yet I'm curious to see what she does with them. Remember the book ‘Bridges of Madison County’ ? Worse book ever written, full of maudlin melodrama with no literary salvation but the story was just so tender and sweet and overdone and enthralled all the ‘womenfolk’  and it became a national bestseller, a horrible movie, and the writer even wrote another one.

I hated both the book and the movie.
