Yeh, my first thought was that it was a set-up. They wanted to create more buzz. Nothing surprises me anymore.

I haven’t watched the clip, but my first reaction is “Why oh why do people DO this?!?” The number of times I’ve been at a football game and some naked fat drunk guy runs across the field… (Okay to be honest I haven’t been to *that* many games – probably less than 15 – but 9 times out of 10, it does happen). Hilarious. I hope she feels like a complete idiot. Then again, if she lacks the brainpower to realize this is a dumb thing to do, she probably IS laughing and thinking she’s “all that”. I just shake my head…

This just brought a smile to my face. Everything that Adam does seems to have a “feel good” moment. I remember as a kid watching the Oscars and a streaker ran across the stage. I think David Nivens was presenting. It’s time we started to laugh a bit more. Maybe we are reliving the 1970s!

Not really. Considering that there are likely people standing around the camera guy/girl, probably jabbing him/her in the shoulder as they see the girl running, and pointing at her. I know if I’D been standing next to the camera guy, I’d be doing that, laughing my ass off. ETA: Not to mention that, since it was at the end of the performance, zooming out is kinda natural.

But everthing is a conspiracy with a frontrunner, so… whatever. :)

Well, after paying off EW to feature Adam on the cover, TPTB felt that he needed more publicity. So they hired a random HS student to streak and jump the stage. Adam just wasn’t generating enough buzz, doncha think?

Only students were allowed on that side of the stadium. The public had to sit in the bleachers behind Adam. We also came in from a different entrance. Lousy sound system…it was only on the student side of the field. We could barely hear him. He did, however, circle the field in a Mustang convertible before and after he took the stage. So, at least we got to see him up close. :grin1_ee:

Even though I could barely hear him and there was zero chance of meeting him, it was just really cool to be part of his homecoming. The place was packed. There were even people on the mountain top behind the student bleachers. Hope that gets shown. I was surprised to see how many kids of all ages, who should have been in school, were on the public side of the stadium. Lots of kids ditching today. Oh, and the mayor of San Diego declared today “Adam Lambert Day” and gave him a plaque.

I watched his appearance on the Fox morning show. Everyone in the studio was fangirly…so cute. The woman who welcomed him outside kept pulling him this way & that. The weather girl kept dragging him in front of the green screen & this big road map they have on the ground outside. She had him do the weather, too. The male host was beside himself. They all were practically giddy. Later in the show they surprised him with his mother…very sweet.

He was on two radio shows right after that. Both were in the same building. Huge crowd outside. He did a great job, really well spoken. He was at an AT&T store next. I met a mother & daughter at his high school who got to meet him at AT&T. The tween got her t-shirt signed (A Lambert).

I saw a video of her approach to the stage taken from high up in the stands, so you could see her running from pretty far away. That girl could run!! Do you see how fast she’s going? She must be on the track team! :lol_wp:

The comments on the u tube clip that I watched included several comments from students at Mt. Carmel who knew her or had class with her, etc. That’s where I first read that she had been suspended.

Maybe she just wanted a week or so off of school, and figured this was one way she could definitely get some of that vacation-time….
