Stefano Langone – “I’m On A Roll” First Listen!

Stefano Langone will debut his new single. “I’m On A Roll” on next week’s American Idol result show, Thursday April 26, but you can listen to a full stream now, courtesy of Ryan Seacrest.

The song features New Boyz and Rock Mafia. Stefano offers advice to the newly-ousted Idol contestant, Colton Dixon, “Make sure you have your eye on the prize,” he said. “Keep your chin up and keep working as hard as you can.”

I gotta give props to Stefano. He wasn’t one of those Idols who said, “I’ll take anything that comes my way.” after his elimination. He rolled up his sleeves and went to work. I’m not surprised things are looking up for him. What do you guys think of the new song? And what are the chances that Stefano takes off his shirt when he performs on Idol next week? Heh.

     I agree that the song is current and what is played on top 40 radio. I don’t know if it is a hit single but it will be interesting to see how it does. I don’t really like it but that does not mean that it won’t do well.

     It does sound like a lot of those song in today’s top 40. So he just might have a hit. But it doesn’t sound like him, or unless he is singing with someone else who is doing the rap part and he is doing the wrap around like Chris Richardson did with Tyga

    People are calling this “crap” well it’s the same crap that gets played on top 40.

    Hey, this track might zoom to #1 on the charts, but this song is still crap to me. I’m rooting for Stefano and I hope he does well with this single, but this song is pure garbage IMO. Just awful. He has an awesome voice and it’s just lost on this track. Stefano, you are better than this mess!  Oh well, I hope it’s a smash for him.

    Well I just now listened to the whole song (as opposed to just the snippet the other day).  I actually like it a lot better now that I heard the whole song.  It’s not really my choice in type of music, but for the kind of music it is (dance/pop) it’s not bad.  I’ve heard a lot worse played on my local top 40 station.

    I like the melody of the song.  Its catchy and has a dance-pop vibe.  I know he’s Pop/R&B and I didn’t expect him to do a club song, but its current radio.  Its not great but its good enough compared to some that even become hits.  Good for him that he’s able to get a single out.  Stefano was one of my favorites along with Pia, James, Lauren A, Karen Rodriguez, Ashton, and Kendra.  Season 10 had people with potential like season 5.  I hope to see Pia release a single and perform it on idol this season too.

    Its VERY radio.  I can see this being a hit.  Even though its not something i would listen to alot i think he will be fine.  he got this.
