Ouch. Brooke and David A are great musicians and great people. David Osmond did not make it according to earlier spoilers. In the end, no matter who is on the show, the people watching do have a lot of control for the most part, so if you are averse to certain people for whatever reason, you can not vote for them and hope they go away. :sad_tb:

LKO8- I totally was not meaning anything adverse in my post. Seriously. I’m pretty much a huge DA fan. I was actually thinking of the Larry King interview with the top 10 and his comment to David stating that “Alot of Mormons win these reality contest shows,” and David (being hilarious) chimes in with “Not this Mormon!” After reading it back I can see how you thought I might have been being anti-whatever, but I didn’t mean to sound that way. Just thought I’d clear that up..

JesseQ- Thanks for clarifying that. No offense taken. I am definitely a little sensitive lately with many people in various settings lobbing accusations at Utahan’s, although I really don’t consider myself one. I grew up in the east and only recently moved here. I am a Buckeye through and through, but I do like it here.

I do find it funny that Larry King keeps making such a big deal of David being a Mormon (he did it again last night at that Ryan Seacrest thing). I know that Larry King means nothing by it (I hear his wife is a Mormon), but it IS unusual for someone to make such a fuss over someone’s religion, especially when David does not shove his religiousity (too lazy to make sure I used that word correctly) down anyone’s throat.

I remember my dad (not Mormon) years ago watching the news making a comment when they talked about some young man committing a crime and noted that he was a Mormon. My dad thought it was odd that they mentioned his religion when they never tell anyone’s else’s religion who committs a crime.

Back to the topic- Does anyone else feel like getting rid of all of these relations and name people made it less interesting? Hopefully there is someone interesting in the competition.
