They shouldn't be judged on their songwriting skills, imo. What if one of them doesn't write songs? If Syesha does, I've missed this. The contest doesn't require they be singer/songwriters even though some of the best contestants are and have been. It just seems to be adding a different level to the contest that I don't think should be added if the show is supposed to be looking for a vocalist.
