The NBC Live event, The Sound of Music, starring Carrie Underwood as Maria Von Trapp is set to air on NBC December 5. The cast recently recorded the soundtrack album which will be available on December 3.
Listen to a clip of “Favorite Things” featuring Carrie and Broadway vet, Audra McDonald. Fans of the movie will recall Maria singing this beloved song with her children. In the Broadway musical, the song is performed early in the production when Maria is still living in the convent.
