Did you watch the Sochi Olympics opening ceremony Friday night? There were some spectacular special effects, particularly the state of the art animation employed for the historical vignettes. But of course, it being Sochi, with the tales of hotel fails (rooms without shower curtains, toilet paper, light bulbs, CLEAN WATER) it’s no surprise there was a major technical glitch at a critical moment.
