Lil Deamon is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Period.

Glad I spent 45 minutes each voting for my faves. Lot of good that did me!!

On the up side, I don’t have to worry about voting next week, I guess.

Well shoot, I really wanted to see Mark and Katee dance together. Oh well…

YES! My man TWITCH! I don’t believe it! I voted so much last night! I can totally see Josh and Twitch doing a hip-hop dance off with the intensity of Neil and Danny in the Princes’ dance! Woohoo!

I know you’re disapponted, but I actually think the upside is that Mark is a total class act.

It sure seems likes these kids are all so close. Each week it must be a little heartbreaking for them to lose a friend.

aw darn- I had always wanted to see Mark and Katee dance together too. It’s not on for another 2 hours here on the left coast- but I just had to cheat and look. Now, gotta try to not spoil it for mom when she comes over to watch it. I love them all and can’t wait for the finale.

I can’t say I’m disappointed about the results because I love Twitch and Courtney, but I am def. surprised!!! I really thought it would be Mark and Chelsie. I have to say though, the hug between those 2 at the end was adorable….Chelsie seemed like she didn’t want to let go! I also loved Mark picking both Twitch and Josh up when he hugged them, haha.

I am excited about the performances next week, especially the Twitch/Josh one! Has there ever been 2 poppers/hip-hop dancers in the finale before?

My 3 favs are thru … Katee, Joshua and Twitch. And I agree Idolbeat, I would love to see T & J do a dance off hip-hop style. Cool! And Katee is just a beautiful dancer.

Boy, was I wrong! The two people I picked to leave went thru! Twitch and Courtney – I’m surprised. I thought Chelsie was a better dancer than Courtney – either Courtney has more fans or not enough people voted for Chelsie. Fans always become complacent. Happens on Idol all the time.

Dream Baby, Twitch thought he was going home to, you could see it in his face as cat was just about to read the results.

After being in the bottom 2 last week, he was abit shocked i think. lol

I’m so sorry I doubted the appeal of my dear Twitch. He certainly BeTwitched more than just my voting fingers. I still believe Mark belongs in the Final Four, but a Twitch/Joshua pairing will be flipping awesome! As for Chelsie’s exit, it was no surprise to me. Courtney was this year’s little engine that could and I’m so proud of her.

OMG TWITCH IS SAFE.!!!YES YES. I did not vote because I thought he was a goner and so I thought voting would go to waste. WOW. Im glad Mark is gone, never liked that dudes wierd moves. Didnt care who left from the girls.

I was so happy with tonight’s results show. Ideally, I would have liked to see Mark and Chelsie in the finale in Josh and Katee’s places (yes, I know they’re amazing dancers, I’ve just never connected with them)….but YAYYYY for Courtney and Twitch.

Things that would make me happy next week:

- A Shane Sparks routine for Josh and Twitch, and one that kicks the Transformers routine’s ass.
- Dan Karaty as the guest judge.
- Joshua winning.
- Me getting 40 points due to Joshua winning (but this is about more than just the points this time. I really want him to win LOL.)

I did get my dream final 4, so that was lucky. That said of course, I think both Mark and Chelsie are excellent dancers. Chelsie kicked all kinds of ass in that mambo. The speed of her legs is amazing to me. And, Mark couldn’t have asked for a better dance than that Jazz routine last night. It was the perfect combination of his technique and his quirkiness. He also had beautiful form in tonight’s group dance. So, for me at least, they both went out on a high note.

I want a nasty dirty stank hip hop routine for à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Twishà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  That will be killer!!

And, this kid totally shocked me. It’s rare to see a child so small with the upper body strength to pull that stuff off. Plus, he was kind of freaking adorable.

I had to delurk to say THANK YOU, MJ, for following this show and posting all the vids. And recapping so quickly, too. I became obsessed this season, which made me look at some of last season’s stuff, and I noticed they weren’t afraid to criticize the choreography then (Shane, Wade’s wtf Foxes) but it’s like they got a memo to never criticize the choreography this time, especially if it was lame Broadway or jazz by Tyce (I like his contemporary). It’s as if on AI, the camera flashed to the songwriters, or to the singers, each time afterwards. Next year on SYTYCD, can they please quite panning to the choreographer in the audience? it seems so unprofessional, like we’re at a baseball game and they just caught the baseball. (looking at you, Sonya)

I want Josh or Katee to win, but most of all, I wanted Mark to get into the final four so I could see more dances. Boo. If he’s invited back to showcase a favorite, I hope its the Argentine Tango (miles better I thought than the Josh/Chelsie one). And I really hope Mark comes back to choreograph.

Did I see Debbie Allen in the audience last night?

I am sad to see Mark go as I thought he deserved to be in the Final 4 having shown incredible improvement throughout this competition. Very exciting actor/dancer! The way he responded to the news was tres classy though, I have to say. And Chelsie. Even though I think she’s a great dancer especially in her legs, I thought the right decision was made there.

This was an incredibly tough elimination. It will be very interesting to see what happens to all these dancers in the future. This is not at all like AI where the top performers usually end up with contracts. Dancing is a tough, tough business – both in the limited opportunities availabe and on the physical end. That’s why its so great that SYTYCD even exists as it is helping to create more enthusiasm for dance therefore more options for dancers. I so hope that Gev, Will, Mark and Chelsie all end up being able to piece together a career in dance. I’ll stayed tuned to find out, for sure.

I’m happy for Twitch and his fans, but … next week’s show will be pretty boring to me. I don’t really care who wins. At all.

I like all the dancers. They seem like nice kids. But, imo, Mark was the best dancer (technical and connection-wise) of the top ten, with the exception of Will, technically (most, but not all of the time). I’m looking forward to none of the dances next week. I’ll watch because I think Mark will be there. That, I’ll look forward to.

mj, if you want to delete this because it’s too much of a downer, that’s okay. I’ll understand. I’m just so disappointed and sad and wanted Mark to stick around for that last week (so I could experience the magic). I never fooled myself into thinking he’d win.

Oh well, from a quirky afterthought allowed into the top 20, barely worth mentioning, to top 6 (with blatantly uneven treatment from TPTB, to boot) ain’t bad. I wish I could see the tour.

Maybe next week’s show will be so great, it will ease your pain, kerfuffle?

sumidol, Yesterday, I also voted for Courtney. There may have been other newcomers to voting. I loved her solo on Wednesday. I am surprised about Twitch, but also pleased. At this point, I don’t care who wins. That’s great that they added a part in the movie as part of the prize. Cool.

What’s wrong with me this morning (Europe time)? First I tear up because David Cook did last night, and then I really teared up when I saw Chelsie tear up. I need more coffee!!!

I really loved Chelsie…I thought she was adorable, but I’m so pleased for Courtney, who consistantly has the BEST solos.

Am on board with those who want a down dirty stan routine from Shane Sparks for Joshua and Twitch.

I would love a Mia Michaels for the two girls and a Wade for the 4 of them.

Can’t wait to see the show via MJ, who I think is so awesome for the vids she puts up for us!

Chelsie did a very different solo. Good on her. She must have heard me when I told her that she had more skills under her belt now that she could do some leaps, etc. And, she did! Wonder who makes Twitch’s tee shirts. They are awesome. I’m sad to see Chelsie go but they are all so good.

Wow, the eliminations surprised me. Sad to see Mark & Chelsie go…but the remaining 4 are great as well. Love watching this show…addicted now!

So starting next week, do they just dance longer solos (no partner dancing) and then one of them is crowned the winner? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but it’s my 1st year watching the show. Thanks!

Then on thursday night it’s a big show where the judges bring back their fave dances (i.e. Marksie might dance Bleeding Love again because the judges loved it) and theres some group dances like top 20, top 10 etc. It’s usually pretty exciting.

i think it would be so neat for adam to give the top 4 dance roles (with thewinner getting the feature)in his movie they are all sooooooooooooo awesome!

Not happy. Lost my two favorites AND crapped out in the pool. I could’ve played it safe and split my votes, but noooooo. This is why I don’t gamble.

wow, I had a feeling about Chelsie going, reason being, reading all the comments from the show on here, no one really said anything about her. so I put most of my points on her. Didn’t see Mark going but I am delighted about the delightful Twitch! Should have followed my instincts that people might have thought he was in trouble and voted like crazy to save him, how can you not love him.

I would have been happy with the final 4 no matter what combination. But I am secretly a bit pleased it was Chelsie and not Courtney.

I love the songs Twitch picks for his dances – and his interpretations. He has really grown on me (Spense – I am now fully in agreement). However, looking at all those old clips of Mark when he had Chelsie for a partner – wow, they had some great dances. Loved that spontaneously joyful hug that Mark gave to Chelsie. I got emotional!

Thank you Mandy Moore for coming back to choreograph the group number. My 10-year-old was even overjoyed to see her back!

Next week – can we please take a break from break-up/make-up/bad relationship dance themes? Are you listening to me Mia, Tyce, NapTab, et al? I want some happy dances!

I really think Mark was the most connected with every dance. He has an amazing ability to become HOT on the dance floor (and oddly, sweetly quirky the rest of the time). He, alone, seemed to really get into character for every one of his performances … and his technique is great, too. I always looked forward to his dances. He’s also a great partner for whoever dances with him. I would love to have seen him win it all (and I am SO tired of the Josh/Katee pimping)…but boy, his response when he heard he was eliminated was all class.

Now, I’m really on the ‘please don’t let Katee win’ bandwagon. She’s an excellent dancer, but something is always missing for me. And she is way over-praised IMHO.

Still looking forward to the finale, but nowhere near as much as I would’ve been if Mark was still there. I need time to grieve.

Sigh .. At least he went on a high note. The jazz routine was tailer made for him and his quirkiness and that was the reason i really enjoyed it. His last solo was my fav of all his solos and i really hope he comes back to choreograph next season.

dbt, I think I will join you. Today, I went back to watch the selection of the TOP 20 and reviewed the whole scene when Katee said she would not return if she wasn’t sent through this year. Last year she tried out and didn’t make it. In the end, her friend Natalie was not chosen.

So, I was wondering if this was a set up? Nigel really scolded Katee and her reactions left me cold. She is a terriric dancer, but I don’t want her to win.

Joshua actually cried when he found out he made it. Did the judges ever find out about his dancing background? I wouldn’t mind if he wins. I do like Kourtney, too.

“Magic Rainbows” is referring to the David Cook song “Time of My Life” There’s a line in it that goes “…looking for that Magic rainbow On the horizon…” The reference is meant to be a bit tongue-in-cheek.
