I would also add Dancing With the Stars on your list. SYTYCD coincides with their schedule.

I also feel that the judges of both these shows outperform the AI judges. This episode fearured many dancers who may land right in that TOP 20. Nice job.

This is my favorite recording done by Kris. He sings this song beautifully. I think it’s the most played song on my IPOD. I was very excited to hear it on SYTYCD last night.

Kimalee has danced for years as a member of the Ballet company where my daughter dances. She is an exquisite dancer.. very well trained too. She has Ballet, Jazz, and several styles of modern dance in her repertoire. She has also danced with the Louisville Ballet and Ballet Met in Columbus, Ohio. For the past few years she has also been learning and competing in Ballroom dancing. I hope they feature her again in Vegas. It was so exciting to realize that I actually knew somoeone who was auditioning and my daughter was beside herself.

It’s a shame that Mary’s voice puts me off so much that I can’t watch this show. I am very appreciative of the clips provided by mj.

I was absolutely mesmerized by Kimalee and her partner’s performance to ‘Make You Feel My Love’ sung by Kris Allen. I did not want it to end. So smooth and so beautiful.

Kris snuck that Bob Dylan song past them for Country Week – Garth Brooks had covered it so it was fair game. I seem to remember Kris saying somewhere that is the song he and Katy used at their wedding for their first dance – or he sang it to her? Some uber fan would know.

I wish I would have downloaded this when it was available. Unfortunately, I was having problems with my iTunes billing at the time.

I would have liked to have seen Kimalee go to choreography first. There wasn’t much dancing in that routine. The lifts were amazing though.

I thought Lil C was a *terrific* judge last night. Sometimes he gets overly wordy, I believe. Last night, however, he was supportive w/out being gushy and very articulate. Jakob was my favorite by far, but there were others I liked as well. Too bad about the twins–I had hoped BOTH would make it to Vegas. Which, by the way, it’s time to see.

How come everyone knew that was Kris’s song but me? When did he sing it on Idol?

I just have to say again that the judges here are so much better than in american idol: their critiques are always to the point and informative, they remain respectful, and even when they give someone a hard time– u know why they do it…i wish the judges in AI could have remained as informative and respectful throughout. unfortunately, i do not have high expectations from Ellen as far as giving informative and helpful criticism (it will probably remain in the ‘you nailed it’ zone..)

Kimalee was amazing, i just wish her partner was auditioned as well. he was an amazing power house dancer, his expressions were wonderful, not to mention– he is hot.

Wow…did the flesh colored panties come with matching labia…because I’m pretty sure that I saw her Brittany in all it’s glory. And I am shocked that it was never caught by editing. Publicity stunt? Perhaps. Is it a good thing for SYTYCD? Well, thousands of pubescent teen boys have a sparked interest. Of course that chick knew she was flashing her vajayjay! Who isn’t glaringly aware that they don’t have underwear on? WHO? Child please…

I don’t watch this show much because I find the dancing too frenetic and over-the-top usually. but this was beautiful, clearly these people have great ballet training — and her comparison to ice dancing was entirely apropos. I love that sport!

Oh, and loved Adam Shankman’s little demonstrations of what they don’t want to see in auditions. The guy’s a major ham, super talented and such a lover and supporter of all things dance. Terrific judge. As is Lil C, who I can’t get enough of.
