Regarding the Vitolio incident. Basically right after Kupono found out he was safe and Vitolio found out he was going home, Kupono didn’t hug or express any sorrow towards Vitolio’s elimination and I think a few people thought that was rude of him.
Personally I didn’t see it that way, Kupono seemed very anxious and nervous and I think he was so surprised he was staying that he didn’t really know what to do next, he looked like a nervous wreck, but that’s just how I saw it.

I’d have to agree, and not just because I’m a fan. He doesn’t seem like a vindictive type of person, he actually seems quite sensitive. Thanks to Dr. Tracy, SpenserJ, and wand3rful for responding to my question!

hmmm…i dont recall him saying anything…it was more that he didnt hug/say goodbye to vitolio…or he smirked…something small, insignificant like that……i just dont like the guy bc he’s the weakest of the remaining dudes…with evan close behind. i get the feeling the judges want him to turn into Mark 2.0 but it is NOT happening.

I think so too. I just don’t think Jason has built a lot of fan support. For me, Jason and Caitlin were good the first week, and then a snooze fest for every week after that. So that’s why I’m wondering if this alleged stellar performance is enough to keep him safe another week. I can see he’s got skills, I just don’t think he’s connected with the TV audience yet. Boy just lacks fire.

But if he does go, I’ll be happy for him to go out on a high note, because he does seem like a nice kid.

Also can Randi or Evan go last at some point? Because, you know, that might be fair or something.

Ha! I didn’t even notice that they hadn’t gone last. You’re a much more keen observer than I am. But of course, for the first few weeks, I can barely remember anyone’s name or tell them apart. It took me a few weeks to differentiate all of the contemporary guys and figure out who was Kayla and who was Karla.

No, I like him. I wasn’t much of a fan in the beginning but he’s grown on me a lot, especially after he switched to dancing with Kayla, I thought they were a great pair.

last season on AI, she was a last minute backup sub for seacrest, but ryan made the show’ ¦’ ¦i still wish he would have sprained an ankle or something just so i could watch Cat blossom in front of millions of viewers (who otherwise don’t know her from SYTYCD)

Definitely! Ok, maybe not the sprained ankle part, but I would take Cat over Seacrest any day, sorry Ryan!

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Jason. It appears that his partner dance is OMG THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER and his solo sucked. This is, after all, a solo competition…..hmmmmm……..I’d say it’s between him and Kupono to go home tomorrow.

Regarding the spoilers: Sounds like it will be a fun show tonight. I think Randi & Kapono are the weakest dancers left, so it is rather convenient for them to be paired together. Hopefully, the voters will agree with me.

I appreciate the PTB catering to me by pairing up my top 4 dancers (Melissa/Brandon & Janette/Ade).

I’m happy with the Jeanine/Jason pairing too. Jeanine is a fabulous dancer (actually, she’s an even trade with Melissa for my top 4 – I’ll take either one). And, I’ve seen a lot of potential with Jason, but his initial pairing just wasn’t able to bring that out. So, I’m happy for him that he finally has a chance to shine. I wonder if it will be enough though, since some of his previous lackluster dances haven’t built all that much goodwill for him.

I think I’ll actually vote this week.

Wand3rful, I agree with you about the ratings. I can’t understand why SYTYCD isn’t more popular. It’s a fantastic show ‘” really talented contestants, great choreography and music, terrific judges, and the best MC in the business. It’s probably my favorite of the performance/reality shows.

(ummm, how the F is this show not getting higher ratings? especially more than America’s Wannabe Talent? reminds me a bit of the Amazing Race…in terms of being high in quality yet low in ratings)
