SYTYCD Finale Dates 

SYTYCD’s final two weeks are moved to Tuesday because they  overlap with the first two weeks of X Factor, which will air on Wednesday and Thursday. (Buddy TV)

  • Wednesday, September 5 So You Think You Can Dance – 8pm (Final Wednesday airing)
  • Tuesday, September 11 - So You Think You Can Dance – 8pm (First Tuesday airing)
  • Tuesday, September 18 - So You Think You Can Dance – 8pm
America’s Got Talent finale dates
AGT’s dates shift too, because The Voice premieres the same week on Monday. The weird thing is, AGT’s final two shows (See the schedule) will go head to head with the  X Factor premiere!  (See the schedule)
Simon Cowell, as executive producer of both shows, will be competing with himself
  • Wednesday September 12 – America’s Got Talent – 8 or 9-10 pm
  • Thursday September 13 – America’s Got Talent – 8-10 pm

    Reading this makes me wonder if there are too many Reality Shows on television?  American Idol and SYTYCD remain my favorites, but there seems to be a saturation of shows.  I still watch Glee and Smash! and hope they come up with some great story lines.

    Well, this is sad.  It looks like I won’t be able to catch the last two weeks (ironically, because it would interfere with dance of all things).

    Did Simon piss off NBC? Putting the finale of AGT against X-Factor seems a bit like a swipe at him.
