Watch an extended preview from Smash Season 2 featuring Jennifer Hudson as Broadway star, Veronica Moore. She mentors newbie, Karen, played by Katharine McPhee.

As you probably know, Jennifer competed on American Idol in Season 3, while Katharine was Season 5′s runner up.  It’s a reunion, of sorts!

Also, Newsies star, Jeremy Jordan, makes quite the splash as a possible new love interest for the newly single Karen.

I’m getting excited for the new season of Smash, set to debut on NBC, Tuesday, February 5.
