Skylar Laine Harden  is one of those contestants that I believe shouldn’t try out for Idol. Her voice isn’t strong enough to be a top contender, so she probably won’t make a very good impact on the audience. She is cute, bubbly, and talented though, and I think outside the show she could be commercial. She reminds me of a young Miranda Lambert.

    gangreen29 thanks for doing this! The 1st and 3rd videos are actually the same here. I like this girl – not a big voice but good vocal tone and pretty good country phrasing. I love Wrong Side Of Me though I’m not as crazy about Diamond Studded Pistol. I agree Miranda seems like a big influence on her and I really like this girl. Your assessment of her is probably right on but I think it’d be cool for her to make it to the t10.

    Baby Miranda for sure and I love Miranda voice. I like the tone of her voice and she has a little cute growl too. Maybe people would start to compare her with Lauren because they’re country chick, cute and bubbly. Hope she can make to the voting round

    Thanks for all of the goodies gangreen29.  I think you may be right on in your assessment about her but it would be great to see her make top 12/10.  Just like windmills pointed out, her phrasing is very good.  She does have the fact she’s cute with a bubbly personality in her favor.  She is very much like a young Miranda.  I like her.
