Siobhan Magnus – Boston’s Holiday Lights – VIDEO

Siobhan Magnus, looking like a holiday version of Princess Leia, helped Boston celebrate the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree with a performance of “What Child Is This” and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause”.

Great vocal on “What Child is This”. She sang it live, too. Check it out below.

Great vocal indeedy.  But too much going on with that outfit, she’s all bedazzled and snow leopared up:O…and that is a major hair don’t!

Very nice vocals, the whole effect of the singing and the outfit was sort of like a
weird Christmas movie like Willy Wonka or something. She is so unique.LOL

This took my sight off the bullcrap that was X Factor tonight.

What Child Is This is a very oddly haunting Christmas song, and she really shined on it. Her dress seemed strangely appropriate. I loved it!

And her I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus was great too. I wonder if she had vocal lessons. She was one of my favorites her season, but she did have plenty of work to do.

Wow.  That’s the best I’ve heard Siobhan sing.  Ever.  She did an absolutely stunning version of “What Child Is This?”  and did great with “I saw Momma Kissing Santa Claus,” too.  Anyone who hasn’t listened yet really should.

I don’t know whether she’s had vocal lessons, or just has improved as she’s performed more, but her vocals are spot on!

But WTF is it with the clothing?  She looked like she weighed 200 pounds.  Plus, just very odd.  I wonder what all the little kids in the audience thought about her costume?

This is what singing Xmas song should be about: very heartfelt.

Very good vocal as usual, but the outfit is an atrocity. She also needs to quit making goofy faces while singing. It’s bad technique, and it looks weird.

She was definitely one of my favorites her season. Spectacular vocals! Her clothing choices always were unique, and apparently still are.  I haven’t kept up with her but glad to see she’s still performing.

Beautiful, just beautiful!!  Siobhan is unique and talented, and so much better than some of the girls who are selling millions of records.

I love her Princess Leia earmuffs!!

The vocals were very nice. I just have no words for what she was wearing. None at all.

What a crystal clear, spot on, powerful voice, as usual! She is in a class by herself and I LOVE her uniqueness in clothing choices! I bet the little ones in the audience were bedazzled by her!

Wow!  Siobhan sounded great in this performance!  Lovely tone and phrasing.  Very enjoyable renditions of these two classic holiday songs.  As for her wardrobe?  lol  I kind of like that Siobhan has a very unique sense of stye and likes to express it.  I’m not fond of her original music, but she’s a really talented vocalist.

Siobhan has got such a beautiful voice – especially when she tones it down somewhat and sings “the standards.”  Her rich and colorful timbre really shines when she’s singing this style.

I also like her doing some of her “rock” stuff, but that can tend to get screechy at times, which, to me, is somewhat off-putting.

But there’s no denying that the girl can sing – and sing “in tune”, too!

    She’s a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice :)

    She sounded amazing here :0
