Anoop totally deserves to be in the top 4…he’s got an awesome voice and he nver gets the credit he really deserves.Simon is kinda a douchebag…why does he not like anoop over all the other contestants?

The dico theme is obviously a setup to eliminate anoop and another contestant the judges may dislike…..i feel real bad for the guy,he’s been getting shot down for the past few weeks….it was sad to see him told too be the first in the bottom 3….he’d have to watch all the performance with the fear of leaving in his mind..sigh

For me, Lil rounds dosent deserve to be there at all..she’s a failure and cant pull her act together…period.

Basically its anoop who needs help..hope ppl actually do vote for him instead of sharing their sympathy.

P.S. Adam’ really a star, but Danney Gokey is NOT.He is boring and can only do a few energetic song…i hope he’s not in the top 2.

After venting frustration on Simon’s acerbic comment on not wanting to save Anoop, took a closer look at dialidol numbers for the 5 contestants that are probably not safe (Kris, Matt, Anoop, Lil and Allison). Ranking these 5 on their average % vote received compared the highest vote getter of the 5 in a particular week (from Top 10 week), the ranking is clear – 1.Lil, 2.Allison, 3.Anoop, 4.Matt and 5.Kris. Matt and Kris are neck-neck in their %, and if we assume Kris gets more test votes than Matt, then it will put him behind Anoop in no.4 position. Early in the game, TPTB pimped Danny and Lil to an extent they have done some irreversible damage in not being able to send either of them home before Top 5. Now, all of a sudden they realize Kris’s rising popularity with the mass and the media that they have only ANoop left to beat in order they can get Kris into the competition. The high profile events planned for Kris this week and Simon’s open cynicism over Anoop all plays well into their well orchestrated plan of ousting Anoop for Kris, never mind the fact that Anoop has been consistently scoring higher than Kris even on a relative basis (dialidol is a fair estimate and good indicator for anyone that agrees reasonably with statistical error of margin that can come from text votes) . Like Simon said, they do not particularly care for Matt.

With Lil and Danny secure from the shameless pimping early on, Anoop is probably the only threat for Kris’s Top 5 position now, and I think this is why we see it play out as we see happen.

Avg % ranking from Top 10 week for the 5 look as follows:
1. Lil – 87%
2. Allison – 80%

3. Anoop – 70%
4. Matt – 68%
5. Kris – 67%

Should be an interesting watch this week. At this point, I am resigned to all kinds of shocks and surprises including a scathing appraisal for Anoop’s performance. At least I will convince myself it is really not about Anoop in as much as they desperately want Kris into the Top 5.

Ryan should have bought up the glitter thing, especially since every single week, heà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s bringing up something about Anoop or trying to bait him in some way, and/or IMHO, paint him in a negative light.

Independent thinking? Would be nice. But the judges are definitely influencing public perception and voting and TPTB, especially Simon, are very aware of this fact … Subliminal messages are no less true simply because they happen beneath the level of peopleà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s awareness.

The fact that Michael got voted in over Anoop by 30,000 votes might be ‘proof’ that a certain segment of the population listened to Simon’s suggestion. I am sure there have been professional studies done to confirm how powerful this method is on influencing opinions ( votes). This situation ended with Anoop being the world card choice. Take away Simon’s ‘plea’ and Anoop was a shoo-in. He had a good performance which Simon saw as a threat, IMO.

Is it possible that after all this discussion and debate, Anoop will be featured in the group performance and sing in the pimp spot? Maybe?

Remember when Amy Adams called Ryan a à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“monkeyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  in a sit down interview. She was eliminated the next week even though she was a wonderful singer. She felt bad because she was told to say that.

CORRECTION: The week Amy Adams called Ryan a “monkey” was the week she was eliminated.

I just saw this posted on Anoopà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s fb fan group by someone who was at the live studio:

And I am guessing this was before he answered to Ryanà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s questions saying that Anoop deserved to be in B3. Oh well it is a reality show anyways.

*GASP!* Then…then why would he say that and then contradict by saying that Anoop deserved to be in B3 after??!! *confused* Doesn’t make any sense, even if it WAS for reality TV purposes… :shock_tb:

And you could see the boredom with Danny last week in Simon’s eyes, but he just wouldn’t pan him the way he would have weeks ago with someone who was not a recent widower.

Remember early on, when Simon was more himself with Danny, and he said “I’m not buying the hype yet” or something, and then Ryan chastised him and said something like “I thought you had a heart”. I suppose Danny had sung something inspirational about life or death or love or something. REALLY annoying, this implication that everyone is supposed to puff Danny up because of his backstory.

And yes, I’m even more bugged because I see him as a threat to Adam, who is my obsession of late.

Sigh.

I think the singing order this week will give us a big indication of how much the bus is revved up for Anoop. Having gone 1-4-2 in the past 3 weeks and never having had the pimp spot, heà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s due to go 6 or 7. Lets see what happens.

I donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t pay attention to the pimp spot until the Top 12 (or, in this case, Top 13. That is when we vote and that is when the competition begins.

Top 13 – Alexis
Top 11 – Matt
Top 10 – Allison
Top 09 – Kris
Top 08 – Adam
Top 07 – Lil

Danny will get the pimp spot on Tuesday, as he hasn’t had it since voting began. It sucks for Anoop; but it is what it is.

I respectfully disagree. I don’t think Kris would be a shocking elimination at all. The only shockers at this point would be Adam or Danny, IMO.

Exactly my pointà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦put Anoop with a back-up group and he will shine through. His personality feeds off of the other singers. This is where his vocals shine, and he seems so comfortable.
