Simon Cowell Promises “A Lot of Changes” on Both X Factors

It’s the wee hours of the morning in London. If my calculations are right, Simon Cowell began his latest tweet spree at around 4 am UK time.  It may be strange, tweeting at such an odd time, but the  X Factor producer has a lot he wants to tell us! First, he apologizes for not tweeting much lately, and then proceeds to make up for it! Bolding the best bits:

Just finished my calls to la. I wanted to apologise about not tweeting recently. I have been focusing a lot on work. There will be a lot of changes on X factor uk and USA. But good changes. I feel excited for both shows this year. One direction continue to amaze me. Hard workers but still the nicest guys you could hope to work with. The first emblem 3 single arrived a week ago. It is fantastic. And fifth harmony are going from strength to strength. Single soon. Tates album is finished. Did some radio with him last week. He is the most genuine guy. On syco uk we are working hard on James and Ella. I have a very good feeling about these two. Please check out you generation this week. It’s worth it. Seen some early footage on the one d movie. Very very exciting. And still on movies the Paul Potts movie from what I have seen is brilliant. Have just finished the britains got talent auditions. We still have a lot of talent in this country. And with everything I have been working on it made me realise that your friends and family are still the most important things in your life. Sorry to cram all this in. Have read some strange things about me recently. I am happy. Healthy. And enjoying life. Hope you are too. What I have realised is there will be bumps in your life but the fun is fixing them. If it was always easy life would be boring. And for everyone who has bothered to follow me. Thank you. I have learnt a lot from you guys. That’s about it for now. I hope to announce something very close to me that I have been working on soon. I was a little deep tonight but it was one of those nights you realise you have a lot to be thankful for.

After delivering an update on a slew of his recent acts (LOOOOOK, Simon seems to be saying, I’m not really such a loser!) (WHAT ABOUT MELANIE AMARO SIMON. HM?) Simon alludes to strange rumors about his health and insists that friends and family are what really matter in life. He also admits to getting “a little deep.” A long sleepless night, Simon? Considering that, if things don’t turn around in Season 3, X Factor US will be cancelled, I would imagine that Mr. Mean may be a tad worried.

Not surprisingly, Simon reveals there will be big changes to the upcoming seasons of X Factor US and UK. I wonder what those changes could be? Also, he’ll be announcing a new project soon. Maybe that musical thingy with Nicole and Andrew Lloyd Webber?

According to the last tweet of the night, Simon has a 12 hour flight tomorrow. Maybe we’ll be treated to some hilarious drunk tweeting. We can only hope!

    His idea of big changes last year failed miserably and with Idol slipping so much ,hard to imagine anything better
    .Stunt judging doesn’t seem to work..maybe if you got Madonna,cher,and gaga on the same panel, people would give it another chance. It is interesting that the $5milkion Amarogets no mention from Mr cowell

    I know he isn’t mentioning all of his acts but the thing is I don’t think Olly and Cher have anything new out right now. Also the girls JUST showed up in the USA a few days ago trying to get started.

    It’s just really odd to overlook them considering they’re currently doing something here.And Simon could of easily lumped them together with Fifth Harmony. Just throw their name out half haphazardly not pushy at all. “Oh hey be on the look out for another fabulous girl group called Little Mix i’m working w/.”

    All the stars were aligning to get some info out about Little Mix and he totally missed it.

    I think that too. They have a rapid growing fanbase, and they have been trending on twitter since the finale ended more so the nthe other acts. Emblem3 has a nice fanbase as well, so I wouldn’t count both of them out.

    I see the U.S. version of the show being done after this third season’s ratings go down the sewage drain. The only real musical talents to come out of that puppet circus known as the X Factor are Chris Rene, Josh Krajick, Astro, Carly Rose Sonenclare, Fifth Harmony and one contestant from season 2 that was mistakenly eliminated Jeffrey Adam Gutt. I was never a fan of Melanie Amaro’s vocals because I’ve heard her type of singing countless times before on the aging dinosaur called American Idol and she never possessed any kind of “X Factor” that stood out. She’s done with Epic records so it’s a moot point. With LA Reid back at the helm on Epic at least he can direct his efforts on promoting Fifth Harmony & his only boy from season 1 with the most commercial success thus far, Chris Rene’s full album later this year.
