Over the weekend I was in Greenville, MS (the heart of the Mississippi delta, the home of the Blues, and BB Kings home town) and I overhead a group of older black women who work for my company talking about AI. I joined in the conversation in time to hear one woman say à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦well that one can really sing.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  Now she is an older black women, a à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“church ladyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ , and I just assumed that she was talking about Danny. All the women soundly corrected me and told me that they all liked Adam best à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬' most specifically loving ToMT. They went on to explain that they planned to vote for Adam. I must admit I was surprised. 2. Earlier today I read a comment on another MJ thread about someoneà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s 85 year old mom loving Adam. And thinking that her hearing aid was broken when Danny sang à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Dream Onà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . I am starting to think that Adam is not actually that polarizing after all. Or in the case where the pimped one doesn't get deserved criticism and doesn't grow as an artist in the process because either they don't have to make changes to save themselves or they are afraid to change to keep the judges happy. And frankly that makes for boring TV. Now if one is pimped and still continues to grow as an artist and/or take risks, that's a whole different enchilada.
