Simon Cowell Affair with Baby Mama Began in 2009

US Magazine has all the dish on Simon Cowell’s Baby Mama Drama

The affair has been going on for 4 years, according to sources.

“Lauren has loved Simon forever,” says a source close to the New York City socialite, mom to 7-year-old son Adam. “And they started having an affair four years ago.” The relationship began as a fling, but the baby — due in February — changed everything. “Simon and Lauren are together,” says a Silverman family source. “They talk 100 times a day.”

100 times a day? Really? While While Lauren’s estranged husband, Andrew seems to be the main source for news over at the New York Post (gold digger and other put downs are bandied about freely) Lauren’s people appear to be in control of the US coverage. They are the outlet that “broke” the story, incidentally.

Simon met the Silvermans in 2004, and soon they were all sunning together on Simon’s yacht! The couple would even stay in Simon’s guest house on his LA property!

“The marriage was not made in heaven,” Lauren’s mother, Carole Saland, tells Us. The couple bickered constantly, say sources. Adds a Lauren pal, “Andrew always went on trips without her. She felt he treated her like garbage.” Lauren, 36, turned to Cowell — and before long the two gave in to a mutual attraction. At first, the hookups were sporadic, but by January 2013, the relationship turned serious and Lauren consulted a divorce lawyer.

IT’S LOVE Y’ALL. Or at least that’s what Lauren’s peeps would have you believe. Other sources claim Simon dumped her six weeks ago.

Meanwhile, husband Andrew has filed for divorce, citing adultery, with Simon named as a co-respondent in the papers. Will Simon have to take the stand? Stay tuned.
