I’m surprised about Tim Urban being the one to replace Orphan, if it turns out to be true. Orphan, while annoying in a Danny Gokey too-much-backstory sort of way, can actually sing, while Tim seems very mediocre. I can only assume he’ll be cannon fodder. Still, he sang a David Cook song, so I may have to throw him a few votes next week!

There is no news on why Chris might be out.

I’ve spotted everyone in the Top 24 in the episodes, except for Jose Munoz. Has anyone else seen him?

They seem to play hide and seek with the camera.
Sometimes he is lucky and catches her but most of the time she’s just too quick for him.

Joke aside, AI has done a good job so far in presenting all the top 24, there’s still two shows and three hours of Hollywood week so it’s probably that Jose will apear and hopefully sing one lyric or two.
In past seasons their were always a handfull of contestants that didn’t get shown at all.

Actually, I just rewatched the S8 auditions about a week ago and she was actually shown very briefly about a minute or 2 before they did Adam’s segment in the San Francisco audition episode. I can’t say it was anything major or remotely in-depth, but she was definitely shown, at least briefly. Not that this matters at all, just wanted to point it out.’

I’m not blown away by anyone this year so far, my favorites are Tyler Grady, Lee Dewyze, Katie Stevens and Aaron Kelly. And I honestly only included Aaron, because he has the Archuleta appeal. I would bet my bottom dollar that Aaron will be a contender for the idol title, simply based on he has grandma and tween girl appeal.
