I’m thinking David A or Michael will get the pimp spot too. What I’m wondering is who will get the death sentence of going first. The past two years, the guy who has opened the show the first week of the top 24 has gone home – Patrick Hall and Rudy Cardenas.

Unless one of the majorly pimped ones gets that spot this year, I’d say it will happen again.

I like the little older performers so I definitely will watch Michael, Jason Yeager, and Luke Menard. We have a Menard’s Home Improvement Center where I live also.It must be a mid-west chain. Lukes got the looks but I’m anxious to hear Jason Yeager, he’s a good looking, well built guy and hasn’t been too professional as there isn’t even a u-tube video. I’m already for some suprises.

The buzz that David A has around him drives me a bit batty, although I’m NOT the least bit surprised. I just wish I got it. Lol. :wacko_tb: Oh well, maybe I’m not supposed to, and maybe I know too much about how this show works to be surprised, but it can still piss me off.

Oh I’m totally thinking David A or Michael, but am leaning a bit more towards David A than Michael. The judges are pretty much drooling all over him. To which I’m still wondering why. Again, one of those kids who can sing ANYTHING but could he convey the meaning.

Carly will have it for the girls.

Gosh, wouldn’t it be nice if they gave the pimp spot to some cannon fodder? Oh wait, that’s never happened…

David has confidence and charisma

David H does indeed exude confidence. The way he re-worked “Love the One You’re With” was brilliant. Not bad on the eyes either. Go Hernandez!

It will be interesting to see just how much the rock dudes rock. Hopefully Carrico will deliver, despite having been a boy bander. He lists Brett from Shinedown and Jonathan from Korn as his influences – now he just needs to back that up. I wasn’t that impressed with his take on Simple Man, but he did get a little better as the song went on.

Castro is definitely a hottie and it is very interesting that he likes Ray LaMontagne. I didn’t listen to the audio above, so looking forward to hearing him for the first time tonight.
