that kristy / archie shot is amazing. how did they get kristy to look hot / plain while at the same time getting archie to look old(er) / hot / dangerous!?!?!?!?

only thought on that photo, kristys hand holding the collar of davids jacket should have the fingers underneath the jacket … although i guess that might go a bit beyond the boundaries for david.

I just realized why there seems to be an imbalance of girl to guy shots — Elle is a woman’s magazine (D’oh!), which means it’s less about the guys and more about the girls.

I like the pictures but where the heck is Michael’s solo picture? That’s just not right! He’s looking mighty fine from the little bit I can see of him behind Carly.

Do you think there are more or different pictures in the print version? Maybe more MJ and Chikizie and DC?

Rami is gorgeous and natural in front of the camera. Love her pics. Brooke looks good, but I thought her photo shoot for that other mag was better. It’s like her personality doesn’t shine through in these.

I’d say Jason’s and Cook’s are the best combination of artistry and showing personality.

I like Carly’s pic with MJ. The other seems a little OTT, like she’s trying too hard.

WOW!!! I love Syesha so much… Every time I see a new picture of her I get amazed. She is so gorgeous. She is the HOTTEST IDOL EVER!!! WHOO WHEEE!!!

Rami solo.

I agree with pj- Brooke’s photoshoot with the other magazine turned out better. The woman is beautiful, but just needs some color on her, I think.

Wow! Who knew the girls could all look so glamorous? Especially Carly (who had some fashion issues during the season). She looks smokin’ there.

Meanwhile, the poor boys are kind of left to the background. Literally. MJ and Chickezie only got into the pictures by hiding behind the girls. MJ’s all about lurking and slowly sliding into the shot while you can practically see Chikezie thinking “So, that’s what the photographer looks like”. Jason is a man of action and lept into the frame, dreads flying, mid-shot. You can almost see Syesha behind him (that’s where her second shot went). Kristy is about to administer a half-nelson on Archie to get him out of the picture. And Cook? Well, he clearly spent all night before doing his taxes. Jason stole the photographer’s camera for a moment to catch that picture of Cook who is appears to be thinking “What the hell am I doing here? I could be sleeping. Or writing a song. Or screaming into a mic or something. At least I didn’t have to dress up like a matador again”.

As a fellow Jason pointed out elsewhere, Jason’s shot brings to mind Alanis falling (after jumping) in her decade-ago You Learn video. Heh.

Well, it is weird that MJ and Chikezie are hiding behind girls, but they both look excellent in their shots. Most of the pictures are gorgeous.

The glamour picture of Brooke is almost too much–she’s almost unrecognizable as a “golden age of hollywood” movie star.

And the wild picture of Carly, for me, is too wild. She looks incredible in the pic with MJ though.

I really like the shots of DC and Jason–the personality comes right through.

I don’t love the solo picture of DA b/c it doesn’t really look like him, but that pic with Kristy is smokin’. Honestly, I’m surprised his guardian of the day didn’t intervene. The heat coming from my computer screen is heating my house.

Seems like a lost opportunity with Syesha. She’s such a gorgeous model–I think the hair and outfit distract from how beautiful she is.

Ramiele in the jacket–magnificent. The other pic? A poor waif–hides her face.

I like the wild picture of Carly by herself-she looks like a rocker chick. Kinda reminds me of Amy Lee (Evanescence) or Stevie Nicks.

Gorgeous photos! I had a secret wish that the top ten would be featured in those winter Gap campaigns, so this was a nice alternative.

I hope Syesha has more pictures in the magazine. She is stunning. Most High Fasion magazines and really any photo shoot a model does…….the photographer will take many shots and pic the one he likes. It looks like they all had two looks. I wonder how her other outfit looked. They probably paired her with Jason.

I’m sure Syesha had a bunch of dancer poses because she is a dancer, but they didn’t pick it. Well, I wish she had another picture.

^He was in a school for models, but after a hard investigation from the Archie, seriously some of them should be working for CIA, we find out that in tht scholl also give vocalizing class and som,ething like a workshop for shy people… anyway he looks mature in those pictures…

David is growing up. He’ll be 18 in about a month and the picture is innocent enough. No worries.

Brooke always looks stunning in these photo shoot things, I noticed that during Idol.

I like both of Carly’s pictures, although the solo one (where her body contour looks very nice in silhouette) the position of her arms, in combination with the blank look on her face, seems a bit too Night-of-the-Living-Dead-ish, for some reason.

The Kristy Lee and Archie picture is very cute and suggestive, of what I’m not quite sure: Perhaps pig-tailed prom queen/cage fighter executes a rear naked choke on reluctant biker boy date or something….

I find it pretty amusing that the photo of DC looks more or less like he normally does on his somewhat more dressy days: spiky hair, bling, white shirt, vest. Assuming that he’s got on jeans and boots, this is just a more expensive version of his ABMB look, sans tie. I guess when you already did the full makeover during the show, there’s only so much that Elle can do to make you over….

Didn’t read every comment…but I BET there are more photos in the print mag. ?? I might have to get it. Although I am IN LURV with Mr. Cook, my strongest reaction was to Rami’s pics! WOW. She could be a model, I think. Just stunning.

Wow…those photos are all stunning. Very attractive top 10 indeed. I can’t recall a better looking top 10 than this year’s. One thing that really strikes me is just how multicultural this group is–American, Cuban, Columbian, Honduran, Irish, Australian, African, Filipino–all beautiful! What’s even better is that in addition to that beauty, they are great personalities. I love it.

Although it goes without saying that I love every picture of David Cook and he is looking fine in this shot, if a little tired, I really love the Carly and Michael picture. They look great together. Nice pictures.

I don’t really like these pix. I found them a bit contrived…the photog was trying to hard.

Rami’s are the best, followed by Jason imo.

The first thing I notice in the David’s pix is nostrils. DC looks little trollish. DA…eh. Brook’s pose in the dress is amateurish. Syesha’s right leg bugs. Chikesie looks subservient. Kristy and David’s pic looks illegal…

…but otherwise, I liked ‘em.

With a beautiful, cultural face and petite figure, I don’t see why Ramiele cannot be a model. Girls and women under 5’3 to 4’10″ do buy clothes. The camera seems to love her.

Brooke looks like she has lost some weight. Although Season 4 was a favorite of mine, I am more attached to this group. Seeing them in concert, makes me feel closer to them.
