Scotty is being handled so well. I am not worried about his longevity at all. He so perfect for the country music scene. Go Scotty!

Absolutely agree!! 26 more dates added through October plus 6 Solo Concerts!! Way to go Scotty! Your fans are very happy!

Really disappointed he is not going to be at the Raleigh show, nor any of the Canadian stops. Good for the others but….

  • Pam

It’s great to see that Scotty will be added to some additional shows on Brad’s tour.  I bet he’s thrilled.  You know what that means folks…..more pranks!  Heh

Congrats to Scotty on touring with Brad on his 2nd leg. When Brad never pranked Scotty back, I knew Scotty would be back opening for Brad in the summer. There’s no way Brad would not seek payback on Scotty for his prank.

I’m excited he’s doing the 26 added dates:))  Wish he was doing even more, but solo shows are good, too…

Looking forward to the pranks:))  And really glad there are people who don’t worry, I think I’m acquiring another degree in worrying;)

    Super news!

Awesome! Good news to wake up to, lol.

Anyway, I just read that the Idol boot song that Scotty is singing is Tim McGraw’s “Please Remember Me”!

  • Brittany Keener

    Where did you read this?

  • mm99

There is an article about it at USA today and a snippet.

Anyway, I just read that the Idol boot song that Scotty is singing is Tim McGraw’s “Please Remember Me”!

Must be wrong. It doesn’t contain “Home” in the title. ;-)

It must be a toss up between “Home on the Range” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads”.

Seriously, “Please Remember Me” would work as a boot song.

I can’t believe Scotty won’t be performing the Raleigh date.  Maybe Brad is planning to have Scotty as a surprise guest for his part of the show.

OMG I sincerely hope it’s not something as corny as Home on the Range!  I would like to think if they even proposed that one, Scotty doubled over laughing.  Even Country Roads isn’t appropriate since there are very few country singers this year.

Re: July 26 date at Sleep Train Amphitheatre: It’s in Marysville, not Sacramento. And Scotty’s not on the bill for that one. But he does have a solo show at the California State Fair in Sacramento on Saturday, July 21 at 8pm. Tickets are $23. Presale on the fair’s website beginning May 1.

This is a link to the USA Today article and clip of Scotty singing “Please Remember Me.”  The song is supposed to be available at iTunes Thursday.

After weeks of speculation about what he might do this summer and whether Brad would continue to include him or who Scotty might be touring with. …. it´s finally announced and now my mind can rest. Teamed up with Brad has proofed to be an excellent choice on personal level and career wise, and no, there is no reason to doubt Scotty´s continuing succes. So yeah, this is GREAT news.

  • Lexie

Thanks, Chrissie H:)  I like no doubters:))

This is great news for Scotty!  This is a great combination for country music fans as you can tell by all the sold out shows.  Scotty continues to grow and learn from Brad and The Band Perry.  I feel like Scotty and his mgmt. are doing a great job at balancing all things – touring, solo events, senior year, etc.

Let me just add that I went to the Scotty/Band Perry/Brad Paisley concert and it was amazing!!  The reception for Scotty was incredible and Brad has really embraced Scotty on his tour. Now we will just have to wait and see what pranks are in store for Scotty this summer.

I wondered if the no July shows meant he was going to try a session of college summer school. I wish he were going to be in Chicago for Wrigley Field show or a solo show in the Milwaukee area since that’s where we’ll be for part of the summer. Brad’s whole concert is truly outstanding…my only complaint is that Scotty’s opening set is too short.
