Scotty McCreery Sets Fall Leg Of ‘See You Tonight’ Tour With Danielle Bradbery!

American Idol and Voice country fans, unite! In a crossover event bringing together two younger talent show alums making their way in the country world, Season 10 American Idol alum Scotty McCreery has announced a fall leg of his See You Tonight tour, and he’ll be bringing along Season 4 Voice champ Danielle Bradbery as his opener!

Scotty’s tour is named after his 1st t10 country hit, which he cowrote with Zach Crowell and Ashley Gorley. Scotty has followed the #8 peaking “See You Tonight” with the summery “Feelin’ It,” which sits at #29 on the Billboard and Mediabase airplay charts in its 18th week with some positive momentum. The winter 2014 leg of the tour saw Scotty headlining at the Ryman Auditorium, among a variety of other venues. Scotty has recovered well from the May home invasion that saw him and his friends robbed at gunpoint. Check out the additional 13 dates and cities Scotty has announced for his tour via Music Row (Danielle will join him starting with the October 24th date in Williamsport, PA):

Oct. 17 Fayetteville, N.C.
Oct. 18 Toms River, N.J.
Oct. 19 Bethlehem, Pa.
Oct. 24 Williamsport, Pa.
Oct. 25 West Point, N.Y.
Oct. 26 Indiana, Pa.
Oct. 30 Louisville, Ky.
Nov. 1 Athens, Ohio
Nov. 15 Kansas City, Mo.
Nov. 16 St. Louis, Mo.
Nov. 21 Columbia, S.C.
Dec. 3 Westbury, N.Y.
Dec. 4 Wallingford, Conn.

Danielle scored a #12 Billboard/#11 Mediabase peak with her debut “The Heart Of Dixie,” while follow-up “Young In America” ran into the same wall at country radio that follow-ups from solo females have been hitting since 2008. Earlier this year, she was the primary opener on Hunter Hayes’s ‘We Are Not Invisible’ Tour and joined him for a duet during his set. Danielle recently launched a Request Line cover series via VEVO where she covers songs requested by her fans. Check out her covers of A Great Big World’s “Say Something” here, her cover of Colbie Caillat’s “Try” here, and her latest, a cover of Katy Perry’s “Roar” below:

BONUS: Check out Scotty’s recent performance of the best song he’s ever recorded, a cut off his current See You Tonight album, called “Carolina Moon” (written by Jon Randall and his father Randall Stewart):

With these 2, concertgoers are guaranteed some fine singing and a nice glimpse at country music’s next generation of talent. Maybe we’ll see them duet while on tour, too!

What do you think of this tour pairing and what would you choose as a duet song for them?
