Country veterans Rascal Flatts have officially announced the cities that they will visit during the 2015 Riot summer tour, and they will be bringing along special guests Scotty McCreery and RaeLynn! Many if not all of their dates together will be part of the Live Nation Country Megaticket. Scotty will be the primary opener.

Rascal Flatts have not been shy about bringing along Idol and Voice alums on tour – they have previously toured with Kellie Pickler (in 2010) and Cassadee Pope (in 2013). Prior to the Riot summer tour, Rascal Flatts will play a 9 date residency at Las Vegas’s Hard Rock Casino & Resort Hotel, where Voice Season 7 champ Craig Wayne Boyd will open for them.

Rascal Flatts is touring in support of its Rewind album, which debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and #1 country after its 5/13/2014 release, and had sold 165k copies through 8/17/2014 (source: Roughstock). Flatts’s current single “Riot” (co written by Jaron Boyer and Sara Haze), the 3rd off the album, currently sits just inside the t40 on both airplay charts in its 10th week, after the title track of their album (cowritten by Chris DeStefano/Ashley Gorley/Eric Paslay) peaked at #3 Billboard/#1 Mediabase and its follow-up “Payback” (cowritten by Aaron Eshuis/Ryan Hurd/Neil Mason) missed the t20.

Scotty is currently at work on his 3rd regular studio album (his 4th including his Christmas album) after scoring his 1st 2 career t10 hits with the platinum-certified “See You Tonight” (cowritten by Zac Crowell/Ashley Gorley/Scotty) and follow-up “Feelin’ It” (cowritten by Frank Rogers and Matthew West). His sophomore album “See You Tonight” has sold 266k copies since its 10/15/2013 release, while the last known sales for its 2 singles are 656k (through 4/6/2014 for “See You Tonight”) and 293k (through 1/11/2015) respectively.

RaeLynn’s debut single “God Made Girls” (which she cowrote with Nicolle Galyon, Lori McKenna, and Liz Rose) peaked at #16 on both country airplay charts, and will soon be certified gold on the strength of over 431k in download sales and enough streams to satisfy the RIAA requirement.
