Awww. At Scotty McCreery’s fan club party in Nashville on Wednesday, as part of the CMA Music Fest, it was old home week, as fellow season 10 American Idol alum, Lauren Alaina surprised the crowd with an appearance!
Scotty was the winner that season and Lauren the runner-up. The duo had performed the Randy Travis classic “I Told You So” as a duet during the competition. Flash forward to 2015 as the singers reprise the performance on stage for enthusiastic fans. I just love American Idol reunions, don’t you? Check out the performance right here.
After, Scotty took to twitter to thank Lauren for dropping by. She tweeted that she had a blast! Both singers have performances and appearances lined up throughout CMA Fest weekend. Scotty performed on the Riverfront stage on Thursday. Lauren is set for the AT&T stage on Friday, and the Belk Park and HGTV Lodge stages on Sunday. Scotty will be back on the road with Rascal Flatts beginning June 13.
