I’m so glad Scotty sang the dance. I’ve been dying to hear a full length, good quality version of that song since it surfaced on youtube last year. Amazing job!

Scotty does The Dance beautifully.  Celebrity is also out there and because this is a quieter audience, I can acually hear all the words.

The dance is freaking gorgeous. WOW SCOTTY.

I love love Scotty’s version (as I do of Garths too) of The Dance.
He always sings it with so much passion.
WTT performance was great too but I am really hoping for another single to be released soon.

eta: Windmills, thanks for posting the vids. Happy Sunday!

Love, love, love Scotty’s version of The Dance at the OPRY. Absolutely my favourite. And he looks so good in white Ah! Ah!

Carrie and Brad sound great very powerful performance.
The Dance showcases Scotty’s voice better then anything he has put out.
WTT does not showcase his voice, it is not a bad song but it is so clear when you hear him perform it why it is not moving it is just boring. He does the best with it you can.

Scott sounds great!  His performance skills just get better and better.

I’m a big Scotty fan, so I loved viewing the videos, especially The Dance.  Thanks windmills!  I think sometimes I take Carrie for granted because she is such a huge star, but this performance reminded me of what a powerful vocalist she is…outstanding!  And Brad, I’m a fairly new fan of his and as a result, have enjoyed going back and hearing his body of work that I’d never heard before (hope he does join the idol judges’ panel).

By the way, does anyone know how many times Scotty has performed at the Opry by now?  Am curious.  He certainly gets a good reception there!

Scotty’s preternatural calm and maturity remain extraordinary.  Does a nice job here on The Dance – pleasant to listen to.

Scotty’s rendition of “The Dance” has struck a chord with a lot of people! It’s a great song that just showcases his voice. I hope he has songs on his next album that are as good as this.

Garth’s original version was great but in all honesty I think Scotty’s is better.

Scotty has an amazing gift of being able to talk to a large audience and sound as if he’s having a close conversation with only one or a few friends.  That’s rare, especially in somebody as young as he is.

Scotty is a master of talksing, a technique that works well in Country.  It’s interesting, but does not thrill me like Carrie and Brad…now, that’s sanging!

Is there a video of Lauren Alaina from the opry. I have only seen an audio version.

Ty for this post. It´s a true pleasure to watch and hear them all and with Scotty being my top favorite. The Dance is a beautiful song his version of it is stunning. There is just something about him and his voice that thrills me like no other.

Scotty first sang “The Dance” way before AI in a local singing contest. There may be a video of it on u-tube. What I remember is how impressed the judges and crowd were…they thought he was special! And Oh! how right they were!! I like WTT but I’m ready for a new single! Hopefully, there’ll be one soon!!

If I closed my eyes, I wouldn’t be able to differentiate between Scotty and pretty much all the male country singers. They try to sing like a country singer with the deep twangy voice. I think that’s one reason I could never get into country. It’s like any Tom Dick or Harry who can sound like Hank Williams can be a country singer.

    Scotty is amazing..What a voice..
From the first time i heard him live in the Philippines till
now..That’s why he won Filipinos Heart. He is a good singer and 1
of the most beautiful tone I’ve heard for a long time.
I can’t wait to buy his new music. He brought country music to the Philippines.

    Scotty is just adorable.

What a great performance by Scotty at the Opry singing The Dance.  His voice on this song is perfect and he delivers it with such feeling.  Just wow!  Also really liked WTT.  Shows me  that he really belongs on that Opry stage.
