Scarlett Johansson Skits Saturday Night Live

Actress, Scarlett Johansson hosted this week’s SNL with Wiz Khalifa as musical guest. Check out some of the best skits from this week’s live broadcast.

Mayweather-Pacquiao Cold Open – In order to keep viewers from changing the channel, SNL stages its own version of the “Fight of the Century” with Jay Pharoah portraying Floyd Mayweather and Aidy Bryant portraying Manny Pacquiao. One of the funniest cold opens in recent memory, it had an early SNL sensibility. Aidy Bryant as Pacquiao is HILARIOUS. Kate McKinnon makes a cameo as Justin Bieber!

Scarlett Johansson Monologue – The Avengers: Age of Ultron actress and new mom serenades Kenan Thompson and Taran Killam with a lullaby she uses to get her infant daughter to sleep. Opening monologues are typically week, this is no exception, although I thought Scarlet showed good comic timing in the skits she appeared in.

Black Widow Trailer – In her first standalone film, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) juggles an internship at Fashion Weekly magazine and a complicated relationship with boyfriend Ultron. CHILL! Marvel knows how to make a girl superhero movie! Just turn it into a chick flick. This is pretty great.

Girlfriends Talk Show with Scarlett Johansson – Kyra (Cecily Strong) and Morgan (Aidy Bryant) chat with former prom queen Camden (Scarlett Johansson), who shares her tips for not being ratchet at the prom.

Orioles – Baltimore Orioles announcers Jim Palmer (Taran Killam) and Frank Robinson (Kenan Thompson) try their best to call a game being played in an empty stadium without referencing the rioting. In case you aren’t up on the news, this week, the Orioles played a game without fans in the stands due to security concerns. Too soon maybe? The unrest in Baltimore is ongoing as we speak.

Blazer – Detective Blazer (Taran Killam) always gets his man in a video he edited together using footage from his partner’s body cam. Done 70’s style, the bit spoofs the ubiquity of cameras and the dumb racist cops who get caught on them.
