Country act Florida Georgia Line is at the top of both the album sales and SPS charts by a comfortable margin. This will be the group’s second number one album. Right behind them, and used to getting number 1 for years, is Britney Spears. Singing legend Barbra Streisand is 3rd.
The highest charting reality competition singer this week is Canadian Idol’s Carly Rae Jepsen. She rose to fame with “Call Me Maybe”, but other than “Good Times” with Owl City, she has struggled to have another hit song. “Emotion B Side” are unreleased tracks from her “Emotion” studio album released last year. It is 18th in sales and 31st combined. Lindsey Stirling is 29th in sales in her second week and 42nd combined. Carrie Underwood rises to 36th in sales while Melanie Martinez is 39th combined and Fifth Harmon is 50th combined. Carrie Underwood also appears on a duet with Keith Urban on his “Ripcord” album at 23rd in sales and 32 combined. Fifth Harmony has a track on Now 59 which is 9th in sales.
