Ryan Seacrest to Produce Dance Show for Lady Gaga Choreographer

Can you stand YET ANOTHER DANCE SHOW?

Seriously. I’m not kidding. According to Entertainment Weekly, Lady Gaga producer (and SYTYCD judge and choreographer) Laurieann Gibson, has landed a docusoap series at E! produced by media-mogul-in-the-making Ryan Seacrest.

The Dance Scene is receiving a series greenlight according to EW.

Eight episodes of the half-hour show will follow Gibson as she trains and leads a team of ambitious assistant choreographers and dancers as they prepare to work with high-profile stars.

“The competitive world of the professional dancer is grueling creative work, ” says Lisa Berger, executive vice president of programming at E! “Watching Laurieann mentor these young artists, who will do anything to make it in the business, gives us a glimpse into a world where the pursuit of success and excellence outweighs all else.”

Oy. Between, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Paula Abdul’s Live to Dance, Randy Jackson’s America’s Best Dance Crew and more, can you say “over-saturation”?

Will you be watching? The Dance Scene debuts April 10.
