Poor Nicki Minaj! When American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday, the comedian could not stop snarking about Nicki’s behavior, as if the judge and Hip Hop singer goes off for no reason.   Hey, when the lady is provoked, she attacks.

Still, Jimmy’s questions and quips were pretty amusing. For instance, he notes that Ryan has yet to apologize for bringing The Kardashians to America. (Ryan calls his creation a modern-day Brady Bunch. Eep)

The American Idol talk begins in Part 2.  Ryan deftly avoids commenting directly on any feuds by stressing how great the new panel is at judging the hopefuls, “It’s all about the talent and the kids on the show…they’re really great at giving their opinion,” insists Ryan, ” Who knows when the show goes live but I think it will be compelling to see.”

When Jimmy asked flat-out if Nicki is crazy, Ryan answered “I think people are going to be impressed with how good she is as a judge on the show.”

“If Nicki Minaj pulls you off the stage and beats you on the air, this show is going to be right back up [in the ratings],” joked Jimmy, “who knows, maybe a 100 million viewers!”

“You know me,” responded Ryan, “Anything for the show.” Ha.

I wonder if Nicki’s latest tweeter tirade makes AI management nervous; she is a real loose canon.  Great for entertainment though.

MJ, you are so right. Nicki isn’t going off for no reason. She’s being provoked.

A provocation isn’t necessarily a reason to go off.

If one is provoked, the aim of a response should be to make oneself look good and the provocateur bad.  And if the response is humorous – all the better.

Nicki seems to fall for it every time she gets baited.  Then her true class comes out.  Or the nearly complete lack of it.

In this case, I totally sympathize with Nicki’s decision to confront Steven about his unfounded comments about her, even if I think that the way that she did it wasn’t the best for her. She needs to find a way to tell off people without ending up making herself look bad in the process. Perhaps, taking a couple of minutes to cool off before responding would help a lot. I have a quick, hot temper, and I’ve learned that responding while I’m pissed isn’t nearly as effective (and is often a really bad idea) as waiting until I’ve cooled down and can formulate a response that will not hurt me.

The Kardashians as Brady Bunch?  Holy, moly, it really is the end of civilization as we know it.

If she didnt have an issue with pride and anger, she wouldnt have gotten up to her neck in such a high-profile fight, no matter WHO “provoked” WHO!  Venom attracts venom.

The Roxy’s response to Levine is a perfect illustration of what I was talking about.  Hilarious.

Uh-oh! Ryan had better watch out. He’ll likely now be labeled a racist as that’s Minaj’s go-to attack now.

Everyone is a racist against poor Nicki Minaj because she is a black rapper!! Even Mariah is a racist against black rappers (even though she married one).
