Ryan Seacrest is the Latest Swatting Victim?

Oh noes. It looks like American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, is the victim of a swatter!

Law enforcement sources tell us … a 911 call came in by someone claiming shots were fired inside the house by “mobster looking guys in suits with rifles.”

Our sources say it has all the markings of swatting.

A slew of cops are at the house, which Ryan recently purchased from Ellen DeGeneres for around $39 million.

TMZ broke the story … just days ago Rihanna, Russell Brand, Justin Timberlake, Selena Gomez and Diddy were all swatted.

Swatting is this new bizarre craze where phone calls are placed to 911, claiming a celebrity is in distress. The cops and SWAT teams arrive. Hilarity ensues. Justin Timberlake, Selena Gomez, Rihanna and more have been victims.

Oh, Good Grief. Track the mental midgets who made the phone call, toss their clueless a$$es in jail and make them pay for a lawyer, charge them with whatever the local statutes will bear – and bill their sorry selves for the salaries and time of the police and swat teams, down to the penny!

Then provide testimony and evidence if anyone wants to file a Civil Suit that claims their legitimate emergency was neglected because these damnfools were fooling around with serious business. Or collateral law suits for ‘mental pain and suffering’ or anything at all! No exceptions. Like a cockroach – step on it before it spreads.

    IMO. Of Course.

A false call to 911 is a major crime. Not funny at all.

Idiots. Pranks like these can have serious consequences. Haven’t people learned that by now? I just finished watching that movie “Compliance”, which is a true story about a prank call made to a McDonald’s restaurant from a guy claiming to be a police officer. The outcome was so disturbing that I actually had to do a google search just to make sure that it was really a true story.

What is hilarious about this? It takes police officers off of places they should be. It calls SWAT teams out of their homes or wherever they are. It cost the city lots of money. It is also very, against the law to make fake 911 calls.

i hope they can trace back the calls and fine them severely
