Ryan Seacrest interviewed Megan Corkrey, Anoop Desai, Matt Giraud and Jasmine Murray on KISS LA radio show today.

Lots of wardrobe talk. Plus, Ryan confirms next week’s Michael Jackson theme and the kids seem super excited for next week’s musical guests, Kanye West and Kelly Clarkson.

About last night’s wildcard “twist”, when for a minute, he thought he was eliminated,   Anoop Desai says, “You guys punked me!”

Plus, there’s more from last night’s Top 13 party from Eonline.

Adam Lambert on the pictures that surfaced of him kissing a guy, “Oh well! It is what it is…” Alexis Grace is looking forward to busting out some Dusty Springfield, and Danny Gokey wants his music to reach the multitudes…

ETAA: More Top 13 party quotes from Entertainment Weekly HERE. Megan, Adam, Jasmine, Jorge and Anoop do not play instruments. The others (Scott, Matt and Kris definitely) may break out an instrument at some point in the season. Every single contestant adores Nick Mitchell aka Normund Gentle, but only Danny Jasmine and Michael had nice things to say about Tatiana Del Toro.

    Can I gush a bit?

Anoop is such a nice guy. In this short interview, he managed to give props to Matt. You can’t fake this kind of niceness. He is really nice.

  • bean99

Cute interview although too much time with Megan at the beginning. Loved Anoop but the rest did pretty good also.

  • t2

I’d be very interested in hearing Alexis take on James Brown — now THAT would be interesting.

  • Dr. Tracey

    I heart Anoop.
I just watched his performance again from last night and he seemed like he was so relaxed and having fun with it, didn’t seem like he was trying to impress the judges he was just being himself and I really like that.

  • sma11ie

Nice bits from the E! article. I accidentally deleted my comment on it in the other thread, but I’ll try to redo it here.

No surprise that the judges disagreed on Jasmine versus Jesse. I wonder who was on which side?

Adam’s Googling himself, but Matt G isn’t. I almost feel like it should be the other way around. Adam seems really smart and self-aware, so I feel that he’ll have decent instincts throughout the competition to know when to tone it down, when to throw the audience a curveball, and overall to defy expectations and win over doubters ala David Cook. Matt G on the other hand, seems a bit oblivious to his shortcomings, and could probably stand to get some helpful feedback so he’ll know what to adjust and work on. I like them, so hopefully they’ll both do well.

Allison wants to do Heart again? She’ll sound great, but girl needs to branch out. Megan’s getting another tattoo. Yay for her? Whatever.

Radio interview: Jasmine and Megan are zzzz. Nice to hear Megan was sad about Jesse but I’m still mad she took her spot.

  • http://myspace.com/susanatfox sumidol

Well they need to definitely come on here to get our advice, right? We will tell them what songs to sing, lol.

  • yf7184

    Anoop Desai says, à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“You guys punked me!à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬

    Actually he said “Y’all punk’d me” He wouldn’t say “you guys”….. :)

  • hypertwink

Adamà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s Googling himself, but Matt G isnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t. I almost feel like it should be the other way around.

I think Matt already knows what people think of him and took notes. In order to save his sanity, he probably doesn’t want to read anymore because honestly, knowing people think you’re a douchebag because you’re wearing a scarf and hat just mindfucks you into oblivion, I think.

  • primeminister

I think Matt already knows what people think of him and took notes. LOL. Yeah, Matt felt bad about Viva la Vida, but added to that, he felt even more terrible that he disappointed a lot of people. (Well, good!)

Maybe he shouldn’t google his name, but he should definitely read mjsbigblog!

Matt, your outfit was terrible last night, but the singing was quite good. Next time, go easy on the runs and goat vibrato, kthnxbye!

  • snuffles

Adam is PURE CLASS! FLOVE him!!

  • CSFan

Adam handled the question about the pictures exactly like I figured he would. No controversy here, Adam is who he is and he’s not hiding anything.

  • weareallinnocent

Adam is PURE CLASS! FLOVE him!!

    THIS!

But, I still also hate him for hooking and reeling me in so easily for this season that I WAS COMMITTED NOT TO BE INVESTED IN!!! Damn you, Adam Lambert. (I know I’m repeating myself, but I swear I’m not intending to spam, I just feel really strongly. LOL)

  • snuffles

Matt G.’s outfit wasn’t so bad. I just think he over accessorized. I think the the hat AND the scarf was over kill.

  • sma11ie

I think Matt already knows what people think of him and took notes.

Matt, your outfit was terrible last night, but the singing was quite good. Next time, go easy on the runs and goat vibrato, kthnxbye!

I think he got the memo loud and clear about the Coldplay fail, but I’m talking about the subsequent memo on overdoing the runs and vibrato. The judges kept pushing him to do soul, I just hope he doesn’t overdo the Ray Charles impression, or the JT impression, etc. Like someone said, he should read the comments here LOL.

  • sillypraguer

Yes, yes, yes. I think they’ve actually done a good job in the personality department — all the focus was on the crazies in the prior episodes, but there are some really nice people in the top 13. Anoop is just so great, Kris is so happy to be there it’s contagious, Scott is so down to earth about it all, Allison is just crazy enough to be endearing. It’s all good. The singing? Well, we’ll see.

  • bjesgirl

I have now decided… that Anoop will be my baby’s daddy.

    That is all.

  • CSFan

Matt G was already pledging to get back in his box, and be whoever the judges wanted him to be, on the night he was originally voted off. He said it loud and clear right before he got the axe. Yet the night before he was slightly uppity about being a Coldplay style artist. If he weren’t a favorite of the judges they would have reemed him for that comment.

  • Layla

I love Adam’s response…he’s rapidly becoming my fave.

  • Layla

But, I still also hate him for hooking and reeling me in so easily for this season that I WAS COMMITTED NOT TO BE INVESTED IN!!! Damn you, Adam Lambert. (I know Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m repeating myself, but I swear Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m not intending to spam, I just feel really strongly. LOL)

I’m feelin you here…I am trying like crazy NOT to become too invested this year…Adam is making that fucking difficult!

  • chicksineggz

I still think Matt G is awesome. He doesn’t need to change anything. (:

    I need more Anoop!!!

  • sma11ie

CSFan, the judges reemed him for which comment? The performance night one or the results night one? From what I remember, he did get reemed on performance night for being “slightly uppity” about Coldplay. And I don’t see why the judges would reem him for pledging to get back in his box the next night if that’s what they wanted…? I’m confused.

  • LaurelG

I can only hope that Adam’s “it is what it is” and “I know who I am” responses will defuse this “scandal.” I was pissed at AOL yesterday because they ran a poll asking, “Do you think these pictures have hurt Adam Lambert’s chances?” Something like 58% said, “yes.” Later on, they ran a headline proclaiming, “58% of those polled think racy pictures have DOOMED Adam Lambert’s chances on AI.” What???

Do I think these pictures have hurt his chances? Yes. They probably cost him the number one spot. But, so what? He’ll still wind up in the top 5 (or higher) and I know he’ll get a record contract out of the deal. He’s on people’s radar now. I found it interesting that both Kara and Simon, when asked who their favorites were, mentioned Adam. Kara also mentioned Matt and Lil, I think, and neglected to mention Danny. Oversight? Calculated? Or maybe just not memorable enough.

  • Hannah Palindrome

Anoop looks like he’s going to class everyday. LOL!!!

I really hope the contestants don’t overdo it. I think they get so excited they forget to sing on key.

  • jnd1221

LOVE Adam’s response about the pictures. What a cool, secure, nice guy. He is who he is and he is truly proud of that. That’s a remarkable attitude for anyone, and he happens to have a damn good voice to boot. I’m trying my hardest not to get sucked in, but he’s making it very difficult!

  • CRB

Megan’s got a sexy speaking voice. Jesse is her buddy too, I like that.

  • CSFan

CSFan, the judges reemed him for which comment? The performance night one or the results night one? From what I remember, he did get reemed on performance night for being à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“slightly uppityà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ about Coldplay. Normally if a contestant seems to be “genre shopping” the judges call them out on their lack of musical identity. I’ve started to think Matt doesn’t see himself as a Ray Charles singing blues/soul singer but the fact that he’s willing to play one on tv would normally have the judges at his throat, accusing him of lacking musical identity. Yes, they want him in that particular box but when he clearly rejected it, only to run back to it when his neck was on the line, you’d think they’d call him out on it: “Hey, last night you swore that is who you are as an artist. We disagree but whatever. Now you are saying you’ll be whoever we want you to be.”

  • hardkandy

Adam just handles himself so well in these interviews. He’s awesome.

Danny on the other hand – UGH UGH UGH!

  • http://absinthedreamers.blogspot.com/ Starrlight

Danny continues to act as though he is some sort of musical missionary and that is really really REALLY turning me off.

Gimme tongue kissing over religion pimping any day of the week.

  • Victoria

I know it’s been said too many times already, but I was really impressed with how Adam handled the pictures. If he is de-pimped because of them, I will be amazed. He’s a producer’s dream: he can sing and he’s professional.

  • sma11ie

I think the blues thing is really who Matt G is– he’s been doing those songs forever, and Coldplay seemed like an overly ambitious attempt to step out of the box and create something cool, since he did say he was trying to infuse Viva La Vida with soul. I didn’t think he was saying he wanted to do rock, but that he wanted to be super-creative and do some genre-crossing soul. I think he bit off more than he could chew there, and didn’t realize it until the next day. I think the judges were just glad he realized he needed to embrace his true musical identity before being overly ambitious with the genre-bending stuff. That’s why I think the judges wouldn’t rag on his genre shopping, cuz he isn’t. YMMV.

    From EW:

Matt Giraud: Yeah man, getting back on the piano. Hopefully I can come up with some cool arrangements and show them that I’m an artist and not just a singer. I feel like I’m an okay singer, but on my piano, that’s when people feel me.

Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m liking this quote, but also worried for him. I have high hopes, but what if his rearranging skills arenà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t as good as he thinks, and we have another Coldplay level disaster? I mean, Brooke did great on Love is A Battlefield, but confessed afterwards that as the competition wore on, she needed more time than the show schedule allowed. I hope he’s a better musician than his attempt at infusing VLV with soul would suggest. And that he’s way better at his piano.

  • Natasha

I’m impressed with Adam too. I really admire him.

  • Madcap Jester

Adam, please, for the love of God, CUT DOWN ON THE EYELINER. You look like a raccoon . . . who’s been punched in the face several times. It’s a little bit terrifying.

  • brownstarz

I’m so happy Semis are over and pumped for the Top 13. Loving Adam more and more with each interview. They have new contestant pages up on the idol website and I was checking out Adam’s and one of his idols is Michael Jackson. OMG…I can’t wait to hear this week what song Adam is gonna pick from MJ’s catalog…it’s gonna be awesome. Adam is the only one that is keeping me invested in this season, just can’t wait to see what he’s gonna do with a song each week. This is gonna be great. Go Adam!

He also said on his new page that his proudest moment of life was falling in love…aww. Could it possibly be to Brad, the guy in the infamous photo? :)

  • undercooked

I too think Adam is a class act. I love him.

I’d like to see him in a suit for one of the performances because I am shallow. He really could be a model. OH OH, he could do Robert Palmer “I’m Addicted to Love” and have Megan and Alexis as the models dressed in black. They could sing a little back up to make it interesting.

  • primeminister

I hope heà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s a better musician than his attempt at infusing VLV with soul would suggest.

sma11ie– Joesplace said that Matt also arranged White Chocolate’s group performance of “I Want You Back.” But I know what you mean about consistency. I think, with his piano to rely on, he won’t have another disaster of VLV proportion.

  • saramcvt

I have been out of town on business, and haven’t been able to really follow the “Adam drama.” I am really proud of how real he is interviews. This IS about singing and performing. Good for him…

  • sma11ie

I kinda agree. I love Adam, I really do. And I want other people to love him, which is why I think he needs to stick with the androdgynous look and not veer into tranny territory. Just as he needs to scale back his performances and not always play to the back row, he also needs to lighten his hand with the make-up and realize the camera is not 500 feet away.

(Just a suggestion … in case you’re reading this, Adam!)

  • snuffles

Well next week Adam will have the professional make up artists at his disposal (as well as hair and wardrobe stylists). They can show him how to apply make up for the television screen.

  • yeahyeahsure

Danny Gokey: That’s a hard question. I think you’ve just got to be wise. You don’t want to offend people in the audience who had a former favorite. You don’t want to out-show them. That’s not right, I don’t think.

Don’t worry Danny. You would NEVER outshow a past Idol in any lifetime. Well, unless it’s like Kevin Covais. :innocent1_tb:

  • sma11ie

I used to play the trumpet, and I think I was only successful at that because it requires one hand and three fingers. I could be the next Louis Armstrong or something, but I don’t see a niche for that really.

I’d love to sing Stevie Wonder. Stevie’s my idol. [Laughs, does a rimshot.]

Anoop cracks me up. I love him, and hope he steps it up.

  • star

Aw Adam. I’m happy he can laugh about the drama. I love what he’s wearing, but the hair and make-up is veering a little too far into Tokio Hotel territory. Having said that, I really want to know how he gets his eyeliner on so perfectly.

I found it interesting that both Kara and Simon, when asked who their favorites were, mentioned Adam.

:O they did? Where can I read/see this?

  • http://mypianoo.livejournal.com MyPiano

Now see THIS is why I simply flove Adam (apart from his voice, of course, which is the main reason). The guy KNOWS who he is, and isn’t afraid to show it. You go girl. Lulz.

I, too, prefer him with less eyeliner or no make up at all. I think he is beautiful naturally. Also, I’d like it better if he changed his hairstyle a bit. Not much. I liked it when he first auditioned, for instance. I mean, he’s gorgeous either way, just think he has looked better.

    ANYWAY.

Anoop is the most adorable thing on Idol, this season. (Ok, Alex came as a VERY close second). Hope he improves his singing and makes it deep in the competition.

Jorge also makes my heart melt. And Scott makes the cutest faces ever.

Don’t really care about the others, actually. :) Wow, do I sound shallow or what? … Meh. Who cares? :cool_wp:

  • undercooked

“Well next week Adam will have the professional make up artists at his disposal (as well as hair and wardrobe stylists). They can show him how to apply make up for the television screen.”

He is really good looking without the makeup. I would love to see the natural beauty.

“I love Adamà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s attitude toward everything. No drama, nothing to hide.”

Yes, he still left it ambigious which is the way he should handle it. Even with the pictures, you still really don’t know 100 perdent where Adam stands. He talked about free expression and art. If pictures surfaced next week with him and a woman, that wouldn’t be shocking either.

Again, he is just Adam, undefined.

  • t2

When asked about a makeover Scott McIntyre says “I’m not a visual person”. Heh … he cracks me up sometimes… wish he could sing just a teeny bit better.

  • heart2

    100% Adam.

  • abbysee

I love Adam. He’s still my guy. Anoop is just as engaging though. As personalities I just dig them both. Danny not so much. Scott is love. I actually am starting to like this group.

  • lefty

I actually am starting to like this group.

Me too … now that we know who they are and have a chance to hear from them! I feel like I can finally settle into the season.

  • oceana

I thought Matt was great last night and I liked the outfit too. He pretty much outsang everyone else last night. I think he’s going to be one of the stronger talents on the show.

  • LaurelG

I found it interesting that both Kara and Simon, when asked who their favorites were, mentioned Adam.

:O they did? Where can I read/see this?

In the E online article, Kara doesn’t name just one favorite but says she likes Matt, Adam, Lil and Allison.

And, when Simon was ambushed by that tabloid reporter while driving his car (see TMZ video), he was asked if he had a favorite and he said, “I like Adam.”

I thought it was interesting because these are the two judges who have been the most critical of Adam. Randy and Paula seem solidly in his corner.

  • sma11ie

He is really good looking without the makeup. I would love to see the natural beauty.

Adam has pretty features, and can be quite striking but from the earlier episodes, it looked like he had kinda wonky skin…maybe the make up is needed for HD? Not the eye make up, but the foundation and stuff.

I find it interesting that Danny didn’t think the producers liked him and was surprised at the pimpage. Add to it that Kara and Simon, etc. are naming Adam over him as their favorite… I’m thinking he really isn’t a judges/producers pet, but they are just creating that illusion for now and setting him up to be taken down by their real TCO(s).

I find Anoop and Scott’s soundbites to be the best. They are goofy and smart-funny. Adam is really charming. Unfortunately for Danny, he is not. Matt G is somewhere in between.

  • brownstarz

    LaurelG,

Usually the contestant that the judges are very critical towards is the one the judges really love and want to see succeed. ie. the davids got lots of criticism and feedback every week from the judges because the judges wanted both of them to be a big success post show.

  • JOJOSIE

Another Adam super fan here. I think he’s a genuinely nice guy, gorgeous and so so talented. I think he had a idea some of this stuff about his personal life would surface and maybe that’s why he hadn’t tried out earlier. Make-up and rocker seem to go hand in hand these days,I don’t mind it but I think Adam looks good without it also. I think he will change it up some this season. He won’t be boring like some of the finalist are already ( I won’t mention any names). Glad to see the finalist looking good and happy. P.S. I think Adam has freckles and thats one of the reasons he wears makeup even when he doen’t do the eyes.

  • Hannah Palindrome

Biggest pet peeve-contestants with BIG EGOS!

You never know when you will be eliminated. I don’t even remember the names of previous contestants.

Adam has a lot of freckles. He is really a strawberry blonde. Perhaps that is what you were seeing.

  • Victoria

I feel like I can finally settle into the season.

Ditto, finally. Other than Danny, I’m starting to warm up to these people. It took a lot longer for me than it has in the past though.

  • bean99

Adam’s eyeliner (not guyliner – it’s more than most girls wear, lol) was way too much as was the foundation. He usually looks much better.

    I heart Anoop and Scott.

  • cookcricket

No surprise that the judges disagreed on Jasmine versus Jesse. I wonder who was on which side?

Here’s my theory which I posted last night in the wildcard thread.

My guess is that Paula and Simon wanted Jesse and Kara and Randy wanted Jasmine. However, the only reason Kara and Randy won was because Megan is Simon’s “golden girl” and somehow K & R held this over him. I know that Kara’s comments toward Jesse seemed better than Simon’s, but she has loved Jasmine’s packeage from the beginning.

  • Natasha

Make-up and rocker seem to go hand in hand these days,I donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t mind it but I think Adam looks good without it also.

I think he looks good without it too. He doesn’t really need that much.

  • Hazehel

Adam has a lot of freckles. He is really a strawberry blonde. Perhaps that is what you were seeing.

Nah, it’s not freckles. The skin looks uneven which suggests that he might have had quite bad acne as a teenager. He said he’s been on the stage since the age of ten, I suspect the greasepaint might not be good for a young skin.

  • sue

Adam really packed on the makeup for the party. The boy knows he has to look good for pictures ya know. LOL…He is is like Robert Smith from The Cure and Liza all in one. I love me some Adam. I also like Anoop and a teesny bit is reserved for Kris. LOL Megan does look really good and Scott seems really down to earth.
Next week should be interesting. I wonder who is going to screw up.

Adam is trying really hard to hide his freckles and sometimes his foundation looks really cakey. It’s ok Adam, freckles are just are cute. I hope he comes out bare skin one night. He is a good looking guy.

  • cookcricket

Adam, please, for the love of God, CUT DOWN ON THE EYELINER. You look like a raccoon . . . whoà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s been punched in the face several times. Ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s a little bit terrifying.

THANK YOU!!!!! His eyes are so beautiful and the eyeliner to me was just ewwww.

  • sunchick

Aww, Adam. Good on him for keeping a sense of humor about it all. Eh, I like the eyeliner. But then again my earliest musical influences were Prince and Robert Smith. Maybe he needs to smudge it a bit more and go for a smokier eye. Hee. I think he’ll be smart and vary the looks to fit the performance, although I am still holding out for at least one full on outrageous jaw dropper.

  • bean99

I think it was split by Kara and either Randy or Paula for Jesse and Simon and the other for Jasmine and Simon has the tiebreaker so he won.

  • GeminiDolly

Adam and HD TV do not make a good combo. Hes got really bad skin and the layers of foundation makes it looks worse.

  • rockvixen

edit: no kidding. you HAVE to read my guidelines. If you continue telling posters what to do I will put your posts in moderation

  • ptslittlecomment

^^^ I agree about the face. I have been in theatre since I was five and I don’t think greasepaint has anything to do with making potmarks. If you go here http://famewatcher.com/2009/02/many-faces-of-american-idols-adam.html showComment=1234930500000
you can see his face up close sans make-up. There are a lot of freckles, but no real pot marks.

  • cookcricket

OMG! That last picture of him is so hot, imo! ^^^^ Adam you’re gorgeous! I love those eyes!

  • sue

Thanks for the link to all of Adam’s different faces ptslittlecomment, lol. I think Adam looks fine without makeup showing his freckles, but makeup on rockstahs is really nothing new so it’s all good too. :) He does have beautiful eyes.

  • Hazehel

Well, lighting can make a lot of difference. If you look at the I think 8th picture down, you will see the unevenness of his right side of the face.

  • Tracy

I was very happy to see Matt and Anoop make it. I hope they do really well.

I’m not a big Adam fan, but he seems like a nice dude.

Danny? I’m just going to keep my mouth shut. LOL

  • elisad

you can see his face up close sans make-up. There are a lot of freckles, but no real pot marks.

I donno… From this pic I think those are not just freckles.

  • Deejay

I actually am starting to like this group.

Yeah, I’ve complained about this season plenty, but I’m just really nostalgic for last season for personal reasons. When I stop dwelling on the glory days of season 7, I realize that this is actually an interesting group with some nice variety. My beef has been more with the sucky format and blatant manipulation thus far, not many of the contestants of themselves.

Adam’s unique to this show; as he’s said, I don’t think there’s been any comparable contestant. Danny, although I’m disenchanted with him right now, also has his own voice. It could be a very good recording voice. Allison could be the rocker chick many people have been waiting for (after Amanda’s brief run). Her style doesn’t seem as hardcore as Amanda’s, but she could have a great pop/rock career in the vein of Pink. Anoop is fun, young, current, and just plain refreshing. I think he could have a successful NeYo-style R&B/pop career. Matt, if he can reign in the vibrato, could make an awesome soul musician. But he said the type of music he wants to do is Coldplay…so things could get interesting with him. Scott can bring something the show hasn’t experienced in a while. His voice reminds me of Clay’s (except Clay’s is better…), but with the piano added, he could do very well. He’s also a sweet and witty guy. Jorge just makes me smile, and I want to hear him sing some more in Spanish. :) I’m not a fan of Megan, but at least she’s quirky (despite seeming like the awkward offspring of Jason Castro and Brooke). I’m not a fan of Lil’ either, but she’s a fun performer. She may be able to fit well into the current R&B landscape, which I think a lot of past female R&B singers on this show (besides Jennifer Hudson, and to a mild degree Fantasia) have had trouble doing. Alexis and Michael…I like their styles (even though Michael BUTCHERED my boy Gavin DeGraw’s song, which Bo Bice killed back in the day! ::shakes head in bewilderment::) Lastly, Kris and Jasmine…well, they just bore me. But maybe they’ll do something interesting next week.

    Yay for positivity.

I think his skin is fine. I think the problem is that he is still applying makeup for the stage instead of tv/photography. I mean he’s a guy in his 20s who may still be prone to the odd breakout. Especially under stress. Plus he is fair so he might have a tendancy to have more sentistive skin. So once the stylist get ahold of him I think he will learn the difference between the two. Perhaps they will get him some great products that are right for his skin type.

He is a beautiful person and is nice to look at. I prefer him with less because I like to see just him, as he his. I think as he begins his idol jouney, he will become more stripped down in makeup and in his peformances.

I donnoà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ From this pic I think those are not just freckles.

Yeah, it looks like he has a little acne there. It could explain why he wears all that makeup, but he doesn’t need as much as he’s wearing. I’m in my early 20s, and I still get breakouts. If I didn’t, I’d almost never wear makeup. I feel his pain.

Adam has really bad skin. I wonder if they can fix that?

  • undercooked

Poor Adam. What have we NOT talked about in regards to his skin, makeup, and personal life. But he’s got to know we LOVE him!

  • sue

Yeah Adam may have some acne problems but it’s all good. Not everyone can have flawless skin like Archie, lol. Well I am sure AI will take care of that. He is a good looking guy regardless and the man can sing. :)

  • Deejay

It really hasn’t looked bad on the show to me, but just a general question: Why does the condition of his skin matter?

This. (I don’t know how much AI can help, though.)

I agree with those who say that this season is shaping up quite okay.

I would be bored if we had clones of last years contestants…and quite honestly there were many in the top 12 last year who had annoying personality traits and crashed and burned at times.

We haven’t even seen what they can do yet and I am more than willing to keep an open mind.

Early aves for me are Adam and Alexis.

You know, it really isn’t the contestants fault that there seems to be quite a bit of manipulations going on or perhaps it simply boils down to what Simon said about the show being “cast”.

Yes it shouldn’t matter and it really doesn’t. He’s a great singer and performer. He’s just such a good looking guy, you want to help him on his way to perfection. And we’re :wub_tb: shallow.

I’m glad I don’t have a favorite this year. As much as I loved last year, I couldn’t quite enjoy it for enjoyment’s sake because I was always on red alert over Cook. This year is gonna be stress free with me enjoying performances without having too much investment. Sure I like Matt and Adam but they’re not DC and I’m glad of that. I don’t think I can survive another year with that much stress. If they go deep or even win, yay them but if not, it’s ok. Also, I think it’s more fun to hate on Gokey.

I read somewhere that wearing makeup can make acne worse, so him wearing that much makeup is not a good idea. Also avoid certain food (I’d avoid peanut butter for example), and also try to avoid too much stress and get plenty of sleep.

Having too much makeup on can make him look slightly weird, but I do think AI have some good people who can teach him how to mask the imperfections and look good on TV. He looked better on the semi-final than during Hollywood round.

I think Adam looked the best in his Top 36 interview with Stevie Wright. Some make up but not to the extent that its creepy. But whatever, all Adam has to do is sing and I’ll be in love with him, lol. Plus, Edward Cullen proves that creepy is the IN thing now anyway.

Some non-comedogenic makeup in moderation is ok for the skin, but cakey foundation on a regular basis doesn’t let the pores breathe. Diet can have some effects on acne…basically it helps to avoid sugary, fatty foods and eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies, but that’s not the solution for everyone, unfortunately. Stress and sleep definitely have an impact, too. But genetics sometimes trump everything else.

It really hasnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t looked bad on the show to me, but just a general question: Why does the condition of his skin matter?

Because I have to look at it on television? LOL. But seriously, I feel for him if he has bad skin because you can’t really help these things…

  • LaurelG

Brad Pitt has uneven skin and yet he’s been one of People magazine’s most beautiful people for a number of years running. Plus, wasn’t he voted the magazine’s sexiest man alive twice?

  • undercooked

I think we should pool our money and send Adam a gift basket from bath and body works. It’s the least we could do for him after spending two days on this topic.
