You know, I really am intrigued by that song and how it was written. I’d love to ask D and D how they came up with the idea. Ambivalence, living for the moment, resisting goal-setting. How could David Archuleta come up with that without living in a college dorm?

We all suspected that Priscilla Presley’s face is covered with the skin of fetuses, but now we have picture proof! At last night’s “Road to a Cure” event, Priscilla smelled fresh newborn baby blood in the air and immediately traced the scent back to David Archuleta. The look in her eyes is terrifying! She can’t wait to crush down his baby teeth into powder and smother her body with it.

Luckily, David has his crazy tween fans on speed dial and he was able to get them to crawl out of their mom’s basement TV room to fend Priscilla off using their screams and garlic salt.

David wasn’t completely safe, because a few minutes later Ryan Gaycrest also attacked him on the red carpet. David really shouldn’t leave his daddy’s side. There’s scary monsters everywhere.

David says WORKS FOR ME and I’m screaming (internally) because on the way over to Brett’s I had told my friend that I wanted to know what David’s favorite track was because WORKS FOR ME seems so autobiographical so while I’m saying to David in a mumbly sort of way”autobiographical” which is way too long of a word David is already saying he likes it because it’s HIM. Wow

Some of the parts are clearly about his own personality, by example his friends have told that is very difficult for him to made a decision

So there you go, Works For Me is a song about himself, after all Idol is a really strong experience for anyone so I don ´t think is necesary that David have to go to college to write a song like that…

thanks Cruzceleste–I’ll read your links. By the college comment, I meant that college for most people is a time of self-discovery and rebellion. This song is a passive rebellion against convention (making decisions, pursuing goals, etc.).

A lot of women seem to want to paw at him or squeeze him or pinch his cheeks, and that must get so annoying. Not sure when he did it, but he draws the pig quite a bit when he has time (on autographs). I think “chuleta” means pork or pig or something in spanish. It just looks weird drawn next to a Christmas Tree with ornaments. lol.

David seems (from what I have seen and heard- no personal experience unfortunately) very comfortable if people ask him for a hug or to take pictures. He seems uncomfortable when people grab him without asking. It looks like she REALLY grabbed him without asking and caught him from behind.

I agree to this as this is what I observed when he was working the autograph line when they were here for the tour. He’s gotten much more comfortable too the more time that has passed. He’s gotten to the point where at times, he has even initiated hugs to his fans. He’s very sweet and very giving and always makes time for people who genuinely seem interested in him as a person and not just fawning all over him like crazy obsessed fans.

From the looks of it Pricilla was just acting out what has been giggled about online regarding David, regardless of whether or not it is inappropriate. She’s an older woman hanging all over an underage boy, I can’t see why anybody would think that’s inappropriate!!!!111!!!

Most people are courteous enough to ask politely for a hug or ask if they can have their picture taken with him from what I have seen of David at autograph signings. I think Priscilla just stepped over the personal space line for whatever reason. Maybe she was just very excited to see him. I am sure other stars, such as Cook, have had to endure the exact same thing.

Niall- I think most people would find it inappropriate for someone to be invading David’s space without his permission. He will be turning 18 this month, but that doesn’t really make much difference. It is still inappropriate to push yourself on a person without their permission, even if she just looks at him as an adorable teen. David is too nice.
