Sadly, and shockingly, Ruben Studdard was eliminated from The Biggest Loser on Tuesday. I bet if his coach, Dolvett, hadn’t used his one and only save on another contestant the previous week, he would have probably saved Ruben.
The American Idol season 2 winner has been writing a weekly blog for Parade magazine. Here’s what he has to say about his elimination.
It was time to weigh-in and one person from red or white was going home. I swear this had to be one the most emotional weigh-ins because we knew someone was leaving that day. Well, the sad news was that I’m the one who had to go. I gave all I had this week, but it just wasn’t enough to keep me on the ranch. I’m glad that I had the courage to come to the ranch and show the world that you’re never too far away to turn and go right. I may not be the Biggest Loser, but I am a champion!
The good news is that Ruben is still in the running for the “at home” prize. The contestant who loses the most weight after they leave the competition will win the $100,000 at home prize.
